Salsa is a very complex rhythm, and combined with that syncopated piano thingy, gives it, it's characteristic feel and sound...very difficult for me to duplicate, but you have broken it down splendidly!

Yeah, we do it like that. Very nicely done. Very authenic sounding. Your groove is superb. You did very well on congas too.

This video is so aesthetically pleasing...from the music to the instruments (Nord 2!) to the good Doctor's clothing to the décor and furniture in the background. Everything works so well together. Oh, and I love how Doctor disclaims he is not a conga player and then proceeds to play the thing utterly on point. Great stuff!

The Search for new inspiration as a drummer brought me here. I come from progressive Rock and Germany, a country which's people never will understand Salsa, because it is not our culture and rhythm, without meaning that in any notation bad for this music, or the culture, where it comes from. So from my weak Salsa perspective: ;-) A cool guy, good explained, adorable skills of playing the instruments, very good timing... What else can be better? A truly professional with style.. Your brought me a bit closer to salsa.. ;-) Chapeau

One day i asked you "what do you think which presets was used in Bily Idol's "Rebel Yell"? I found the message from Judi Dozier> "You can hear the Prophet V on the strings and the cello on "Rebel Yell." The strings build chords up the keyboard on the chorus [micke: the rev 2 Prophet really sounds great here], and the cello is a one-note line in the quiet parts. The OB-XA is on the stabbing chords on the chorus. You will hear both keyboards on the little intro that sounds like mallet keys." As is.
