4:26 is still weather stripping, it's just out of the package and mostly used up.
@GooseMobius11811 жыл бұрын
It takes about an hour a lap depending on the size of the track, and shooting days depend on my school/work schedule. I can't make any definite promises as to when the next one will be out, but know I'm just as frustrated as you guys are about how slow I am at this, so I'm trying to get faster. Thanks for sticking with me.

My son and I made this track and it looks great! He plays with it and makes stop motion videos too.
@GooseMobius11812 жыл бұрын
Actually, all of my tracks are flat. Banking would definitely look great, but I don't really know how to pull it off. Also, it'd be harder to get the cars to stay put during filming. But if you decide to go for it, good luck!

@GooseMobius11812 жыл бұрын
I think you mean floral foam? Sorry I probably didn't enunciate that well in the video. I don't remember exactly how much they cost since it's been a while since I bought some. Where I bought them they came in a pack of 4 or 5, and I wanna say it was somewhere around $3? Maybe give or take a few, but I'm pretty sure it's no more than $5. They're pretty cheap.

Weather Stripping. Or on the package it says Rubber Foam Weatherseal. Both terms are acceptable. You can find it at Home Depot and Lowe's

Where do you get the material from
@GooseMobius11811 жыл бұрын
No. But if you make your own, the cost of materials is only about $30 depending on how cheap you can get the exercise mat.

@Charles Bright: For some reason the reply button's not showing up on your comment. To answer your question, try going to a hardware store like Lowe's or Home Depot. If you still can't find it, maybe try a sheet of plywood?

It's called Stop-Motion animation, sometimes more commonly called Claymation. You have a car, take a picture, move the car a little bit, take another picture, and keep repeating the process. Then you take all of your pictures and have them play one after another.

I've never had that issue. If you use a stronger tape you might run into issues, but masking tape should be fine.

How many mats did you use for Daytona?
@GooseMobius1188 жыл бұрын
I used 6. They come in 2ft x 2ft squares, so the track is 6x4, and it's massive. If you plan on doing a season, I'd strongly suggest having only one track this big, as it takes forever to film a single lap. 3x5 and 4x2 are much more manageable.
