@@rubinaakther9188 I remember running Brisant on Lynx a few weeks back and didn't really like it myself. I was having more success with Redeemers and Hammers. Another option is to go with Devastators but I found with Devastators I sometimes struggled with knocking down Aegis Shields.

Hey Adrian. Thanks for the guide, haven’t finished watching just yet but I love Lynx so I’ll be finishing it after I type up the comment. I wanted to point out something I think you might have skipped over. Most T3 or below drones in the game at the moment are simply not good at all. Whiteout is an exception, being really good, and Ironhearth has a niche use as a cheap companion for Revenant or Khepri with Misaki and Ponchy (they can activate its abilities and get defense points on their own). But otherwise, T3 drones are kind of a big waste of microchips Recommending drones like Fly, Sharpshooter, and The Eye is something I personally avoid. These drones are a total waste of microchips for beginners because they offer virtually nothing while costing an incredibly valuable currency. I usually say to just use level 1 starters because most people have them from back when they costed silver and they just give a nice little heal every once in a while. The others are all either too niche or do nothing noticeable.

@@Adazahi It's hard to recommend everything to everyone the same way as it is to try and please everyone. The reason why I went through the entire inventory of drones is because players may just have them - at least they know what to use rather than just use a starter or Whiteout. I know a few made a big deal about me using Pascal in my footage. Well… I replaced it with a level 1 Beak and I did equally as well. I didn't have all the benefits of Beak being that it was low level but my Lynx still performed well.

Adrian I have saved up enough memorium for both the lynx pilot, on the Baihu Lynx I use the stake but on the Normal Lynx I use redeemers. What pilot skills I should use for the Redeemers build and Stakes build. What drones should I use for each of the builds im a f2p player so its hard for me get good drones and upgrade them

For the Pilot Skills I would pretty much use the Pilot Skills highlighted in this video (keep in mind this is more for Beacon Rush and Domination). Armor Expert, Road Hog, Stubborn Warrior being the first 3 as these are very important. If I had to pick just 5 though then it would be Armor Expert, Road Hog, Stubborn Warrior, Adamant Guardian and maybe Ferocious Guardian although you could also use Master Gunsmith although this gives I believe 5% extra damage when maxed rather than the 7.25% of Ferocious Guardian. Keep in mind though that with Ferocious Guardian you only get that increased damage when you use your ability whereas with Master Gunsmith it won't matter. For drones you want attack drones - I believe I went through all the attack drones in the video. Hope this helps!

Now go watch my recent Baby Account video where I use a low level Lynx. Compare the modules I use, the pilot, the drone and weapons. You will soon realize what I use on the lower level account is a scaled down version of the optimum version. There's a reason why that Baby Account does as well as it does and players still don't understand why. For the ones who have connected the dots they understand and have probably saved a lot of time and resources in the process.

Definitely Hammer. I didn't include Decay because I actually tried it and found Redeemers to be better. So… if you have Redeemers I would pick that over Decay. Decay I think tends to work more if you're running 3 or more.

Another secret regarding lynx is its ability charges the mothership like crazy. I use puncher lynx with keel and it is op. Unless there is a ophion,ocho or a mindless currie

What do you think of the electric bite drone? I'm running a maxed out one on my Ocho. I can't tell if it actually increases lock down time. Do I have to be using the new electric weapons that apply lockdown to get the drone bonuses? Not sure how I feel about that one

I've actually run this drone on Shenlou but ended up using Pascal instead. That's actually a good question when it comes to the lockdown effect and whether it works with weapons such as Glory etc. I haven't tested it myself and honestly don't know. I would assume it works with Halo, Corona, Glory based on the description but Pixonic isn't very specific when it comes to their descriptions - one thing I never liked as you can't tell what's a bug or what's suppose to happen. Also for Ocho I would gravitate towards Hiruko, Pascal and I've seen some players use Kestrel as well (although this will change after the update since it'll be nerfed). For the specific build you have though it might make sense to use the electric bite if it helps with lockdown as your lockdown accumulation will be faster unless you use Unstable Conduit. If you're using Unstable Conduit then I'd probably use Hiruko or Pascal.

Hello Adrian, thank you very much. I'm in the the building department of mine right now. I have the redeemers. I also have punchers and I also have the hammers. Idk which one would be the best. I'm thinking the hammers but I do love to brawl. I have not upgraded the new camps or the repair amps. I don't have any immune amps but I believe the extra defense of the repair amps in the extra power of the nuke amp would be the best for brawling. Saving for the pilot skills right now. I have a few, but as I stated I'm building it. It's already MK2 and leveling it up. Thank you so much Adrian! Thank. How much for your time? And recon in the build. The only passive mod I've ever built was a fortifier so at 20 mil silver is a lot for an F2P in the championship leagues. My medical issues are hindering my ability at this time, but I'll get there. I actually think Redeemer and maybe Hammer. Subduers are good but I'm expecting them to get a nerf in the future so the others are safer. On my Baby Account I actually have the Hammer setup but find at the lower levels the Redeemer might do better. It really depends on what you encounter too though. The Hammers are good at knocking down Aegis but the Redeemers are very effective at that 300-350m range (which if you have a lower level Lynx this is the range you're more likely to play). Although I didn't include it, I can see Ultimate Avengers being very good too.

Either one works well. I think Punchers might be a bit stronger as we still have a lot of Aegis Shields out there.

Surprised to see all 3 modules as an option on Lynx. Don't the IA or RA need some damage to charge up. Can Lynx survive it. I assumed LS was a must for Lynx. It can get into ability and execute, almost when it's dead.

It's very good. The one thing I do struggle with though when running that build is when I'm dealing with Aegis Shields. Other than the Aegis Shields though the build itself is very solid.

This video isn't all about "Champion League" players. If you look at my recent Baby Account video you'll notice I'm running a scaled down version. My Baby Account's Lynx has the following: - Hammer weapons - Nuclear Amplifier - Beak drone - Sati pilot The difference? Well… my Baby Account has an MK1 level 6 Lynx. The reason why I does well though is simply because the build itself is strong. It doesn't need to be max either. I think a lot of players are sometimes clouded by "it has to be MK3" or "it has to have Pascal drone because that's what you showed in the video". What I showed in the video was more builds that I found worked - I could easily have run Beak level 1 and it would have worked. It might not have been the BEST setup but it still would have done very well simply because the setup itself is solid.

I seem to be having more success with Redeemers but I think it also depends. Sometimes when I'm running into a lot of Dagons for example or maybe I drop my Lynx at the end and there are Rooks - in this case I prefer the Hammers. Both are good builds.

So ummmm how do you counter it ? Because I got back on the game and it takes 3 of my bots to beat it , it’s not the the stealth that kills me it is so tanky I have lv 9 to lv12 weapons. When I fire at them they barely take any damage, I have to my harpy to use the bomb ability for them to take some damage

If you have a Whiteout drone it can disrupt the Lynx in that the player won't be able to use heal, Phase Shift or their ability for a few seconds. If you don't have that drone then you could also use something like the Typhon or Erebus' Blackout ability. Another option is to run with robots that have their weapons low to the ground as you'll be hitting Lynx when it's in ability mode. Drones like Seeker can help too in that it has a built-in Quantum Radar whenever anyone who is in stealth gets within 350m range. Also when you say you have level 9-12 weapons which weapons are you using?

Adrian isn destroyer skill a waste of the skill slot? Even if the ability dmg would be 20k x 3 hits it would be about 6k more dmg? Does it increase the execution % ? That would be different stuff but I'd rather use different skills than that. I think the destroyer skill does well on ophion, fafnir etc. but not lynx unless you explain to me the benefit of it on the lynx. Thanks

Yeah that one you could probably change for Master Gunsmith or Mechanic. I'm also not sure if it increase the execution percentage as I don't really have much information when it comes to that - Pixonic should really be more detailed about that stuff.

​@@adrianchong thanks for the reply, I didn't expect that quick response! I use dmg per beacon and defense points per beacon skills. In the beginning I grab 2-3 beacons fast(as my lynx is extra extra fast, never met faster lynx in the champion league) so it's 3x12% dmg and 40 x 3 defense points. I mostly use armadillo so another 3x 12 defense points plus kills etc. It hits pretty hard and is durable, that's a good start for charging mothership, nuclear amps etc. then it gets even more stronger and I continue with killing and beacons. If I use kestrel and 2 immune amps it's so so fast, I never met faster bot.

Now go watch my Baby Account videos and you'll see what I'm running on there. It's just a scaled down version. It's always funny when players use the whole excuse "well Adrian the reason why it does well is because it's maxed out" but then they can't understand why my Baby Account does so well vs high level players. Just an FYI, sometimes I outscore Champion players who are using MK2 and MK3 even though my bots are MK1 level 6 and weapons are Mk1 level 8 or 9. There's a reason why and it isn't by luck :)

Honestly they should not have even touched the Kestrel. They're basically changing the entire drone - if they're going to do that they need to compensate players or exchange it for Pascal or something.

I think Redeemer is stronger. You will have more range and you can charge up both your Nuclear Amplifier and Mothership faster. Hope this helps!

Nope. If you watched the video and listened carefully - I said I prefer damage focused drones. The reason why I went through the list was to show where to look at when it comes to whether that drone is suited for damage or not. Would you have rather preferred me to just say Pascal or another drone which most don't have and call it day? Probably not right? That's why I went through the store to see what was available so that I cover MOST players.

This is just me personally but I find that build on the weaker side. It has good burst damage but if you're dealing with multiple players or worse yet players with Aegis that build will suffer because of the reload.

I think the Redeemer setup would actually hit harder. I did a test last weekend where I actually ran Seraph with Decay and Redeemers and the Redeemer setup was far superior. Keep in mind too the Seraph is usually played with range. This tells me the chances are… Lynx with Redeemer would far out perform the Decay setup being that Lynx's ability is 300m. Hope this helps!

I would not run that build. The Reapers have a long reload and I believe they're going to nerf those weapons further? Either way it's definitely near the bottom of my list when it comes to best weapons for Lynx.

I think at the lower levels the Redeemer might do better but it really depends. I know when I'm running into a lot of bots with Aegis Shields like Dagon, Typhon, Mars, Shenlou etc then I prefer to have Hammers. Hope this helps!

Redeemer as they have 100% accuracy even at their max. range, Hammer does have 500M range but aren't very accurate as their shotungs.

@@CatShak Redeemer is more accurate but remember too it depends on what you're up against. For example if there are bots with physical shields out or even something like a Rook the Hammer will perform better because of it's properties (it bypasses physical shields).

What I would do in your case - if you have the pilot, weapons and modules. Focus on levelling up the weapons you're thinking of possibly using along with the modules. The pilot you can't really do much except for maybe put that onto another bot and level it up gradually. This way you're working on the build without actually having it. What this allows you to also do… if the bot itself gets nerfed then your time isn't wasted as you would have levelled up the modules and weapons. You will also find that when you do things this way you're able to skip metas. Hope this helps!

I'm sure it could work but I didn't include it because I think those weapons might be getting a nerf. If you're looking for that close range damage though I honestly would just go with Devastator and run 2x Nuclear Amps if you can. When I was running this setup I actually took out quite a few Curies too but I also waited until their ability ended.

Why would Brisant get nerfed? Hardly anyone uses it now.

@@SkeeterDunn Not sure but this is what I saw under the last test server balance changes Splinter/Shatter/Brisant: SLOWDOWN: 5 maxStack, -0.03 per stack, 5 sec duration → 80 maxStack, -0.01 per stack, 5 sec duration Not sure how that works but these weapons were doing a lot of damage. I think Brisants in terms of how they fire fall into a similar category as Stake weapons. They can do decent damage but they fire slow - this is part of the reason too why I didn't show this particular setup. However this video was more to show what was possible rather than showing every setup that works. For example I didn't show Ultimate Avengers or even the Glory weapon which I think can work too - the ones I showed were more recent setups which I ran that performed well for me.

Because the video isn't really about setups but rather what I do to make Lynx stronger. Weapons are important but knowing the modules, drone, pilot skills etc makes a big difference too. Stake can work but I actually found the weapons I showed in this video. I also did not include the Ultimate Avengers which I think is incredibly powerful - I wanted to show some newer weapons but also older ones that players might have.

Sorry I don't quite agree. I think most players who are inexperienced in the game would come to that conclusion. If you look at some of the games on my Baby Account for example, often times you see players struggling with MK2 and MK3. The crazy part is that I'm going up against them with an account using only MK1 level 6 robots. Why do they struggle though? Well… a number of reasons. Firstly their builds really aren't solid because they don't have a solid understanding of how to balance not only their robot's strengths but also how modules balance out with things like pilot skills and drones or even weapons for that matter. The other reason is because they haven't gained that experience just yet to pilot that robot. It's not their fault though because these things take time to learn and it's not something that can be bought. Btw, this is also why often times you will see players sitting back and camping with terrible builds even though they might be maxed out - these are players that have spent but haven't yet gained that experience to learn the game well. They climb leagues but aren't prepared for what happens in Champion League. If you look at some of the strongest builds in this video for Lynx, you will notice my Baby Account has a watered down version of what I would run if it were maxed. While it might be weaker because it's lower level, it's the most efficient at that level because I'm using weapons, pilot and pilot skills similar to what I would typically run on a maxed out account.

Back in 2015 or 2016 a viewer asked me if I would ever quit War Robots and cover another game. My response at the time? If I did it would more than likely be because of the players rather than Pixonic. I still stand by that. It's amazing how when you try to help people whether it be this game or another or just in general how things turn on you. It's no wonder the world is in such a mess right now.
