I got the materials listed on screen, and didnt end up having enough stone. I recommend getting an extra stack :) good build non the less

Also more spruce stairs, stripped logs, planks, and way less trapdoors. I ended up with 60 spare spruce trapdoors. Woo-hoo I guess

Lovely design. But should the winch/pulley be above a window? Just that if it would be functional, it would have a function. Sorry to nitpick. It really is well designed and good looking winch and the tower is lovely otherwise as well. Also thank you. Going for a very different style of tower, but this still gave me inspiration and ideas. :)

i made the tower on an island in the sky and my only issue, well two issues is that i couldn't place the grindstone under the trapdoor even when crouching so there's a huge gap and the chains also won't connect to the grindstone. i just did it anyway with the gap cause i don't care. i added spruce trees around it, torch flowers, mushrooms, grass and ferns and added lanterns along the roof and on a path leading up to the tower and it looks great

You may have already figured this out but on the off chance you haven't all you need to do is place a block under you and crouch place it. That places the block and doesn't open the menu. This works with pretty much any block that opens a menu. Hope this helps. :)
