That is probably the most straightforward to build wood gas system I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing. I think I might actually be able to build one now

Your rocket stove video from a while back is why I subscribed. When I found out you can make gasoline from wood I was mindblown. It's not something you learn at school and I guess I am too lazy to research on my own

Mr. T, what's the purpose of the tank filled with water? Cooling? Why is there another 1-1/2" pipe coming out of the pressure tank above the gas intake pipe? Looks like you filled the tank on the flame-side of tank. Great videos and I appreciate your creativity!

So would this gas be safe to run in a conventional gasoline engine? Would significant modifications need to be made? Much thanks, awesome video!!

Very nice design ... you didn't use a cyclone ... however ... any tar problems? .... It seems that having that amount of air coming in through the 1 inch nozzle made the combustion zone very hot ... therefore and maybe ... it destroyed most of the tar ?? Then cooling the hot gas could produce some water and tar inside the cooling pipe ... I wonder how much stuff is inside that pipe and where the condensed liquid is expelled? Thank you.

i want to power a wood chipper to make endless fuel. fantastic.

Realy nice, That would be cool to find a way to store this wood gas under pressure like propane !!! and use it on a BBQ or something like that

You can put an air compressor on the end of it

You have a online fan on one of your units. Does the fan run the whole time you're burning wood?

this is so awesome! What a great informative video, can you put a glass window on it or will that effect the gas ?

I imagine this can be hooked up to power a gasoline generator. What kind of additional equipment would be required for that?

How much energy do you think can be produced this way, by collecting foliage and small sticks off the ground of a forest. (Which isn't exactly quality, long burning wood fuel) I was wondering if this gasifier technology could be used to power a robot which navigates the forest, collects more small foliage to power itself, so that it can collect more. Why do this? To prevent forest fires, which can be prevented if the bulk of the fuel on the ground is burned up in a controlled burn. The robot could make controlled burning automated and more feasible by burning very small amounts at a time. Certainly there are a lot of challenges. Dealing with terrain, programming, navigation, collecting the fuel, burning it in a closed oven. Making sure the fire never spreads and starts and actual forest fire. Could be completely I feasible just from power requirements as well, but not sure.

Awesome bro..!! I wanna make one... do you have to filter smoke to run a motor ?

the thing is that this requires no fossil fuels to make basically fossil fuels, i realize that the gas is mainly hydrogen, but in the cooler there will be some vapor, this vapor is actually flammable and depending what you burn has different fractions to it, and engine can be ran on this and the gas itself, its just amazing what can be done with waste brush or wood material

Wish I had a welder!!!! who wants to build me one? I'd be glad to pay for it.

It isn't that hard or expensive. Buy a welder from Harbor Freight and you could make what ever you wanted. I'm near Atlanta and would help you if you are close/like
