@Nandhukrish777 in the snow land, right by fast travel, overlooks sakurajima. You build all over that flat lands then build up the mountain a bit. I built a 500 pal base. All runs smooth, once it loads lol

That first foundation placement is MUCH more important than you suggest, if it isn't lined up almost exactly like yours is then you can't build out 21 towards the lake because you'll end up in it and unable to place foundations. Might want to add something about orientation

@itstonberrytime well, yes. But there's also another issue where on one side you end up almost running into a cliff, losing about a thirf of the pal boo area in the process without a lot of vertical building. So it would still be helpful to know the exact orientation to maximise space

The bases have to have a gap between them. Which means some structures wouldn't be built within the base visinity. Do those structures disappear or fall apart over time?

Really awesome base I myself am attempting to build the base slowly I am only at 5 but the amount of space is awesome. My only issues that I am having is that I keep getting raided by high level beakons and a buuuunch of other flyers while trying to build the base, how do you suggest to defend against these kind of raids without shutting off raiding?

I haven’t tested building a base up high, but all things considered it should work, if it does, you can add a tall roof to this, and more pal boxes on top. Anyone wanna test that for me? @@ChoJun69 It seems daunting, but it’s not that bad. Especially with the way DPJ explains it. It becomes very simple and is a great idea because putting them all together allows them to all render at the same time. If you go too far away from a base, they despawn & that hurts production and constant fast traveling is annoying There’s also a video about stacking your produce farms and that looks unbelievably complicated and while it technically is, once you know what you’re doing, it’s super quick to do. Got mine up and then realized a better position, and when I rebuilt them, it didn’t even take half the time it did the first

Its beautiful if a bit spaced out ; would take hours to squeeze perfectly. It'd be cool to turn it into a MegaTower base were that not nuclear meltdown for most pcs and consoles. If there was a square-perimeter option a 9-Square-Base would be dream for ultimate space.

Used to be that way.. Devs changed it to be 4 base max by default, stating they are aware many players needed a base for raid bosses. And since I think Fey Break update you can now increase that further via a new settings option to, I think, a max of 12? I do like this change because it makes building more of a personal choice of what functions you want a base to focus on, rather than trying to fit everything in a single base all the time. That said pal pathing means they still work best on single floor placement, so even with the increase in base count you're still sort of building bases the same way every time in order to accommodate everything for your pals without running out of space. As such, I am still holding out hope for a base radius setting in the future as that would allow for more freedom in actual base design. If I never get that at least a higher base count means more ability for specific bases, so it's a good compromise.. it's just that I wish I didn't have to choose between a player home or a pal farm. Kind of cheapens design if every base has to have the same things for it to be a valid, defense build. Even this amazing base is basically using multiple bases to simulate a wider radius so you can wall it off from invasion.
