Hey Steven, I am wondering. What do you think about using a (very limited) freemium instead of a hard paywall? I know the onboarding already acts as a kind of investment of the users in the app. But still it makes me wonder if you conversion rate wouldn't be higher if you gave users free acces to the app for a week/month and then hit them with the hard paywall, after having invested time. Did you try this method? If so, could you share your insights? If not, why not? Thanks!

I don’t get all these KZbinrs trying to teach people how to make money on KZbin. KZbin is a time consuming thing, to edit and to talk and do video while running a business. I wouldn’t even waste my time doing KZbin if I can print money like you said. I’m here because I’m trying to find an easy way to make money but it is a hard path require full attention and knowledge.

You have a very limited vision man... KZbin for him it's a side hustle, he's business is already going in automatic, and a video is just a single day effort and will monetize forever (youtube exists). And if you want to make money without any effort, you have the wrong attitude in life.

Like your content! 100% good onboarding is half of success, the other half is paywall xD But seriously, every app that makes $10k+ MRR has good onboarding, it's a must-have PS. I'm just making my first app (MVP), and I'm for sure gonna spend a big chunk of my dev time on onboarding, paywall, and analytics setup
