Yours is the best Marketing cloud tutorial on KZbin. I wish if there is something similar for CDP. I also checked your website. Please let me know if there is any paid version of your training where you have covered CDP. Thanks a Lot!!

Hi Cameron Thanks alot for your time and content . I've started learning SFMC recently and came across your playlist which has a lot of content that will help me. However I would like to request/check if you have any plan to sort the videos in an order from basic topics to advanced so that people like me will follow the same order on their journey.

Thank you for this excellent video tutorial. Does Salesforce offer a trial or student version of SFMC?

Sadly there is no trial/dev org for Marketing Cloud at this time.

Cameron, great video thanks! Just curious that's a lot of back and forth to recreate that email content. Is there an import function that allows you to bring in something that's close to your needs and tailor it to personalize before use? This would save lots of time during the creative process. Thanks again!

There are some pre-built layouts that can be selected as the starting template which can get you most of the way towards a standard email build; however it will depend on the specific branding and layout required. I like to start from a blank canvas for new email builds, but that’s just my preference.

@@CameronRobert Got it, and I mostly agree, it's just when you showed the content from the reallygoodemails site, and there's a bunch of Salesforce examples it would be simple to modify some of those for your purposes saving tons of time.... :)

Hi Cameron, Great Video. Just wanted to know if you can guide me in getting a marketing cloud account. Not sure how to get access to the marketing cloud. Thank you.

There currently isn't a developer or training version of Marketing Cloud. However there are groups in the community that offer short-term hands-on training opportunities. trailheadacademy.salesforce.com/overview and supermums.org/ are 2 that come to mind; and I encourage others to link post links to groups who offer hands on training experience in Marketing Cloud.

What is your thoughts on using HTML vs template/amp script? I have experience in Eloqua using htmls. And my new company uses SFMC and Salesforce support deploy their email. Now I have to take on the execution but not sure if I ask my agency to create html or use template based instead ? if that’s easier to leverage Einstein features?

I strongly recommend starting from the base HTML templates provided in Marketing Cloud as it is the “native” option, and will support most features out of the box. You can add customisations to this as needed.

how do you get your own SFMC org to play with?
@CameronRobert
@CameronRobert 9 ай бұрын
Sadly there aren’t any “dev” or “practice” orgs; however some of the Salesforce marketing cloud training programs will provision you a training org for the duration of the program. Additionally, working for a Salesforce Partner may get you access to their partner org for training purposes. Working with a company that has a spare BU is also a good way to get some MC practice. I’ve done all of the above during my time using Marketing Cloud 🙂

You can absolutely build your own templates without Marketing Cloud. I suggest taking a look at VS Code using the AMPscript plugin; that way you can get as close to Marketing Cloud as possible without needing to use a real instance.

Excellent video! The clip-art music is unnecessary and distracting

Nice video. However, not sure about teaching people to "borrow" the URL of images from other companies. Doesn't seem like good etiquette and also that company could remove those images from that location at any time, so also makes it risky.
