Putting on the boot should be the very last thing you do. If it’s off you can check for leaks. The boots can give some rebound on the shorter shocks. Great video though.

Running without the boot should be the very last thing to do… this damage the orings and generate the leaks! DEFINITELY NO :-)

hi Renaud, allow me a question. In the video you said to use shock absorber oil, or wd40 to make it easier to get on and off the ring nut. But isn't the wd40 bad for o-rings?
@rsrc3 жыл бұрын
Hi No it’s not, it won’t damage them no worries ;-)

Those big o rings on the adjuster are rubber. Little orange o rings are silicone and yes wd-40 will damage them over time. But it’s fine on the rubber o ring on the shock body.

Hello I got a question. Can you use different shaft lengths? My stock is 52. I can find that part easily, but if I was to upgrade my shocks to aluminum it uses different length 54.
@rsrc3 жыл бұрын
It is not recommended, as longer shafts with the same shock body length will make the piston or at least locknut pop into the bladder and can cause damage

Theres no need to grind the adjustments like that, there marked on top so you can count the turns.

Try to do a quick ride height adjustment in a rush in a dark pit before a start then you will think about it 😂
