This is one of the best solutions I have seen for a low head hydro generation system. It a scaled down turbine of the type that is used by large hydro dams on the Columbia River in the Oregon and Washington states of the US. Ana - don't touch the wires when you are standing in water. 🙂

Technically its 1) Dont touch live wires when grounded to earth Contrary to Hollywood water itself isnt a ground to Earth or the shortest path to ground(and that concrete is an insulator from ground if anything) 2) Dont touch hot wire with one hand and neutral or ground with other hand and it will amps across your heart This is the way people die messing with live wires as just 100 milliamps will stop a heart The way line workers and electrictions avoid this is to wear thick rubber gloves on at least 1 hand(with rubber boots to prevent grounding) 3) Always treat the wires as live Getting killed by a capasitor, a high voltage battery or you turned off the wrong circut or a fault has energized the neutral or ground is always possible if you are not careful (never touch different wires with both hands at same time without rubber gloves and rubber boots if you must, touch only with tools with rubber handled if can....I've had screw drivers spark cause of a live ground touching neutral)

Please correct me if im wrong, but in commercial applications like you mentioned, isnt it better for the generator plant to be at the bottom / lowest part as the water gains energy from dropping with gravity ??

Except she didn't grease those bearings that she cleaned. She will be doing this same repair very quickly, over and over again. Until she learns to grease the bearings. It will run quite, and produce more power if the bearings are greased, as well.

So much of this is SO Raw. I Love it. I've been watching FAR too much SNL recently...this gives me ASMR just hearing nothing but the work and Water sounds, the brickwork would get an apprentice fired on day one here, but I can appreciate that Ana likely does it with no formal training, yet regardless gets EXACTLY the result she is after using VERY locally sourced and reclaimed materials. If you got a contractor in to do this it would run you into the thousands, but the looks of it Ana probably paid for the Cement mix only... Which by it's own token, may well have been paid for by selling off a Healthy supply of Farm Fresh produce. I WOULD LIVE THIS LIFE IN A HEARTBEAT!!!!

Ana be sure to use anti oxidation grease on your hardware and save your from rust I would also recommend quick disconnect connections for your wires since you have to service bearings 3 times a year. U can also just build slots in side of your water flows to slide in a board block your water flow keep in simple . service your generators Also I loved your video.

@@geroutathat as long as the outflow is a certain % of the inflow there’s no issue. The dam we’re building won’t decrease the outflow by any significant amount. The property is over 500 acres and zoned for grazing and a fishery which it was decades ago. So he’s allowed to use/hold a lot of water for agricultural use. Our fishing pond is tiny by comparison 5mx10m and no more than 2m deep

Как-то на другом видео наблюдал какой длинны народ трубу уложил на склоне и какой перепад высот потребовался, чтобы получить в районе киловатта, плюс инвертор, аккумуляторы и т.д. недешево и непросто ... :)
