Just some design choices for you guys if you are looking to spice up the look of your base! If you use a stone gate and put it close to a stone wall or stone defensive wall and open the doors towards the wall, it looks like stone pillars and really changes the look. I think the flat stone walls without them look bland. I have found a few different ways to use them. Wooden gates kind of work with this too. You can build a second story deck on a house with the open stone gate technique, having 2 floors come out from the house, using the gate as deck pillars and using the decorative bar item as the front of the deck, it looks great. Also you can put Anubis statues inside stone defensive walls so it looks like its a carved into the wall. You can also put a campfire underneath/inside the statue so fire comes from its feet. You can also put a spool or whichever the large round item is under the Anubis statue to make it stand taller and have a larger profile for a center piece of the castle/town. Also you can put items inside the breeding pen if you are short for space, like small pal beds and small storage.

Thanks for this, its given me the inspiration to do this on a larger scale with 3 palboxes on the private server I'm on. I chose the same island but on that flat area to the south-east of there. Its the spot with cliffs on all sides, totally unraidable being a bonus.

Any tips on lining up the defensive stone walls and gates because I see lots of videos of bases with these walls perfectly aligned or better still in a curved/circular shape! The same with the wooden defensive walls, I wish they snapped together because I am really struggling to get even 1-2 walls to align straight especially with the camera angle m! I can’t even imagine trying to surround my whole base with them because it’s VERY fiddly but I really like the aesthetic of them as a barrier!

I just wish someone, somewhere, that is making a game would make it so your build starting item (computer, hearthstone, idol etc...) would come with a tile underneath so you don't have these amazing bases with your control panel sitting on a clump of dirt in the middle of it. Do you have to rebuild the outer walls every so often since they deteriorate? OR did you change that setting?

You can turn the decay rate down to 0 in the global settings to stop the decaying process completely, but if for some reason, you don't want to do this, you just use repair kits to repair any decayed structure.

Yes. I tried making a similar build like this one but anything outside of the base circle would eventually get destroyed after sometime. So unless you’re willing to continuously rebuild the same thing over and over again I wouldn’t remind destroying the base you already have built currently then building something like this in my opinion.

This base is Great and beautiful, But if you are in a PVP server base like this its easy to disassemble all the mats that is not in the blue circle can be disassemble even you have 2 palbox near together so you can put 2 bases and make it bigger and beautiful. player can disassemble all the walls that are not inside the circle and your base is prone to raid, But overall this base ideaa is beautiful.
