I have a bunch of these cedar fence boards just for bird houses. Always good to get more ideas for them. My last set of carved wood spirit houses also had the holes too low for nest building on the inside, up high like this is better.👍 Thanks for the inspiration!😊

I have 30+ birdhouses around our property, 12+ are heated. I use tree bark, split wood, knotholes as enter/exits. ... I even have a few bird-16-units condos. lol

Jordy I made one last month set it opposite my patio, nesting hasn’t started here yet. If I do a second one and set it by the road will they think it’s a motel?😮 probably no good as the chicken who crossed the road was a joke so would be the bird who flew to the other side right? I think I’ll try a big set of beaks around the bird hole entrance just to see if they get nervous about it. A open cat mouth might keep the sparrows out if that was around the hole huh LOL ?
