How do you keep the way from getting hot running through the black poly hose and the sun beating down on it? I like the idea, but I worry about the water being hot. Do you have that issue?

You said you use 1/2 inch poly hose. Are you talking about pretty thin hose like used in the garden for drip irrigation? Or are you talking about HDPE poly pipe? Thanks for the very helpful video?
