I honestly love this, having a tiny house off the grid by a lake was my dream house for such a long time, I'm glad to see a project like this come to light!

OMG!!! look at all the rich red soil!! All I could think about is: cob home, strawlight clay home, poured earth home! Why didn't these folks build a home using the earth? I'd pay them to haul the soil off their property and then build a poured earth home for myself :)

This is how 90% of all homes in the United States are built. Most can withstand winds up to 120 mph. To Europeans it may seem unusual to see houses built like this. But ya, it's commonplace here.
