That's some quality advice right there. Stay consistent and fuel your workouts with quality food - that's brilliantly simple. I just love it.

Thanks much, sometimes it's good to remind ourselves of what's most important. It's easy to get distracted these days.

I have always thought that dieting is eating only green vegetables and drinking water. Agoge Diet proved me wrong. I am eating delicious and nutritionally rich food and still reaching my fitness goals.

Golden information. I remember I was guilty of overeating or “bulking” to gain muscle back in the day and it did nothing but get me softer. Do you have the link to the study?

I'm afraid I don't it was something I came across a long time ago and it didn't really resonate with me until a year or two later.

Wow the example with your hands is amazing! Functional demand. Make me think of overtraining and damage your skin to often. Will it repair if it's damaged to often 🤔

It may, but it will take time. I used to be a Taiko Drummer and it tore my hands up pretty bad. I should have let them heal but I was "tough" and just pushed through the pain. Took all summer for my hands to heal

Does implementing the rule of TUT within a workout in turn helps burn body fat when on a good diet? (not over eating)
@RedDeltaProject5 жыл бұрын
All muscle tension will burn fat, it doesn't really require a specific form of exercise to lose weight (which is a good thing) but keep in mind that the harder and longer you do an exercise (any exercise) the more you will burn

Can i gain muscle with a low carb diet where i only eat carbs before a workout?
@patriknn17 жыл бұрын
Marshall xv yes.
@onceuponthecross17 жыл бұрын
it's much easier with carbs. once i started eating enough carbs, i stopped being an "ectomorph" ;)
@alfiegarcia98187 жыл бұрын
Marshall xv You need carb's for energy or you'll feel lethargic, lazy and slow.
@jarrasmith17 жыл бұрын
Alfie. Not true. Everyone is different. Carbs make me feel slow tired and lazy. I switched to high fat high protein diet lost 10 lbs. and feel great. My strength levels have remained with me.
@alfiegarcia98187 жыл бұрын
jarrasmith1 Brown rice, brown bread, sweet potatoe's are better for you than the white version. Also, eating a high fat and high protein diet is definitely gonna be tough on your body and your body does need carb's otherwise it will use the extra protein you consume to convert into glycogen which will be hard work for your kidney's and the extra fat will be difficult for your body to process.

hey Matt, how to get rid of wrist pain
@iliyan-kulishev7 жыл бұрын
Rest ! During the summer I was working much at various construction sites and it didn't take long before these wrists started to get stiff and giving my crazy pain at random times including waking me up from my sleep ! As soon as the weekend was approaching after one-two days of good rest (being careful even with the computer etc.) the pain was away.

Let me ask you something what’s your deadlift, bench and squat? Like it doesn’t have to be exact just an approximation. I have a good reason for asking you this Matt.
@onceuponthecross17 жыл бұрын
he deadlifted 315x3 romanian, dead stop easily 1-2 years ago. i don't think he tested his bench and squat.
@Leo-yn5fx7 жыл бұрын
onceuponthecross1 Ok so really he’s still in the novice phase. Novices can build muscle and lose fat at the same time. Past that good luck.
@onceuponthecross17 жыл бұрын
i am not sure how this works tbh...i mean, of course you leave a lot of gains on the table if you don't use weights at all, but for a BW purist he is kinda huge :P

No idea, Stronger than before though that's all I know. When I teach clients basic lifts the weight they are using keeps feeling lighter.
