Hi Dark Cat. I like you. You remind me of friends I used to support and some cases protect in CE pvp. Let's talk a little about the nightmarish rabbit hole that is base protection. This current video you have here. The ceiling of 'hatch and caps' is good and standard. Will make attackers look for an easier way in. So they will start at either of the entrances. Your entrances are covered in triangles, wich is correct, compared to square foundations. It looks like about 20 spaces to bomb through. They just have to go straight, making a tunnel. Of course any foundations above the tunnel will collapse on themselves. People have enough bombs. Always have. Even without duping. I write this by the way, knowing that you and I don't support undermesh bases. Wich only prevents the people that don't know how to do it, from raiding such a base. Since it's impossible to make non-raidable base. I turned to deception. I make a base wich has secret rooms. You have to make such bases either large enough or confusing enough so that they have to bomb the whole thing down to the ground to find the secret rooms. First, you have to find areas where an undermesh person cannot look at the underneith of your base. Second, you will be building these rooms keeping in mind that they will obviously not have doors leading to them. The more walls and foundations you have to deconstruct the better. Yes, everyday you use a secret room you have to deconstruct in order to get to the mats you need and then at the end of the day, you have to put all the walls and foundations back like they are always there and nothing is behind them. Third. You can do this as complicated as you want. But you are not building big secret rooms that have all your crafting tables AND storage in them. ONLY small secret storage rooms. Here's where the deception and counting on people's false assumtions come in. You are building your base to look 'normal'. So you have your crafting area with the tables, thralls ( Not your best named but believable T3's) and materials in them, chests around with mats in them, storage areas with even some valuable things in the chest as well. The key is, that 80% of what you have, mats, weapons, armor, ect, is in secreat rooms instead. Bear in mind, there is a way to look behind fence foundation and walls. So obviously don't have a secrect room that is only where you have to look behind and then take down a single wall. To futher complicated things, you can make it look like you have only advanced to Black Ice. So that people who break in, look in the tables and chests to make an overall assumption that you don't have tons of Star Metal, bomb making mats and other high end things around. That's why you leave chests unlocked by the way. So they break in, 'That was easy, hey they don't even lock their chests! Hey, he doesn't have shit! Let's go look for a better place to break in.'

Yeah maybe but I can not support or tell ppl to live undermesh so all I do is to explain them how they can build a better pvp base . I know they need to destroy 50 triangle foundation and make a tunnel in but still it's much harder to raid than any other building in there

My buddies and I did this exact same thing on a official server but to a further extent. We made secret rooms in the base which held all of our valuable shit and would block it off with foundations during raid time. Like you said the key is to make it large enough that not only is it going to have to be foundation wiped to find the rooms but also that people will not count the blocks of your base. What we would do was actually a bit different though and has proven much more effective given that it has been multiple weeks now and we have never been raided. As raid time approached we would go into shutdown mode. Move all the thrall into secret rooms, take everything of value (leaving basic stuff nobody would care to take) in all of the chests and stations, and then seal it all into the hidden rooms we would create. After this we would get together to go and raid other people but before leaving we would destroy our door and put a hole or so in the wall to make the base appear to have already been raided. We would then proceed to spend the entire raid time attacking other people knowing damn well that people were inside our base looking around to see what scraps the “people who raided us” may have left behind. At the end of raid time we’d go home patch up the base, open the rooms and put away all the loot we got for that night. Then production would carry on like normal till the next day and then rinse and repeat. Here’s the kicker. As I said we have never been raided and up until very recently our base was only made of sandstone. We had damn near hundreds of kits and thousands of mats all sitting in a sandstone base that nobody has ever found.

That's the kind of Base you have to build when the whole server is against you 😆 I'm a solo so I always do a last stand type of game lol U make the strongest base and see how long it takes to be raided lol

Dont worry with the new Dupe its easy to spam 4000 bombs in 10 minutes xd, and even fi you make a ceilingbase in mid, people will just mesh it and place bombs from outside the mesh... just happened to us on official :)

@@darkcat.gaming i agree, with dupe fix gutter is incredible. But right now we have to deal with a supereasy dupe every clown with 2 braincells can abuse. So spamming doesnt help us. But i like your basebuild :) lets hope they fix the dupe asap, because at this very moment official is unplayable.

Spamming foundation is banbble not building your base with foundation . But I heard from many ppl building any base in desert gutter is banbble cuz it's a passage so idk

You dont need to destroy IT, just turn IT off.. after that just use mats to activate it.

Building anything in "passage ways" or "common high traffic passways" is considered obstruction to other players, devs will come on an delete on official and potentially ban your account for doing so, I would add build at your own risk to this title or anything linked to in game pre-built structures thay are considered passways within the exiles ✌🏽

Why don´t you recommend a combination of triangle ceilings, pillars and walls? Your triangle foundation spam is only 200.000 HP to go through 1 layer. With the other method it´s 310.000 HP to get through one layer. In addition, if you do the triangle foundation spam, every destroyed row will collapse, what a waste of mats! With the pillar/ ceiling combination only the destroyed building pieces are gone. The rest will keep its stability from the top. If you don´t have any building piece limits, you really should recommend that! Every noob can just spam foundations.
