Do log galleries work I remember you doing with deinocheirous also I know why they panicked when Dino died. Without the update dinosaurs still scare them when tranquillised so I think it was just a mistake or bug in the coding when they change statuses

For a completely enclosed habitat where guests can walk, you can also use ziplines and park tours if you want a "smoother" experience than using the Biosyn tunnels, monorails, or park entrances.

love it! What we need now tho: - guest only gates - the biosyn air defense system (it’s canon that it keeps the pterosaurs in the reserve!) - controllable custom territories (keep Dino’s lured to where you want them without having to use feeders) - toggle dino panic - herbivore feeders Am I wrong?

This has so much potential that i dont think we've even cracked yet. Clever uses of fences and decorations will essentially allow "free roaming" dinos in park builds. Lowkey might be the best feature of the update cus there is SO MUCH potential for creative uses for this.

Maybe you can try to put little rocks/walls to tighten the gap of the path (put a malta wall on each side to create a very narrow path and stop some species)

If you put a decoration infront of the little gate it can make the dinos be contained !Just nake sure it has a bit of space so the guest can go in

You can put decorations up like the tall standing lights, a bit closer together than the width of standard path. Guests and first person view can both get through, but even the smollest dinos can't get out. It's touchy to figure out, but it makes for the best petting zoos with the tiniest beings

Hey Evo, I discovered a new bug that comes with the new update but I really like it 😂 you need terrain differences inside the lagoon, then place the new underwater viewing domes on the elevated terrain. If you then save and load the game, the domes are coming to the surface and you have a new viewing tower in the middle of the lagoon 😍😍😍

What about putting some lamp posts in the middle of the gate or road to block larger dinosaurs? Perhaps it would be possible to block even the medium sized dinosaurs while still letting through a few people.

Way long ago (i think around the early Cretaceous dlc) i made a petting zoo using that one facility gate with the crates. And then I obviously put a path under it that winded in a loop around the exhibit. I could be wrong, but because of its hitbox, the guests dont spawn on the path in the exhibit, but it might of changed since they added the hostility update. But at least the minmi and homalos dont escape :/

here's hoping that a future update will add an option for pterosaurs, specifically, to not threaten guests--having gotten to test some of this out myself, i don't like that i need to turn off danger for all the carnivores to get them, too, since most of them wouldn't realistically be a threat and it's nice to pretend that some of them ARE dangerous enough and NEED to be contained in the aviaries (thanks to the hatchery glitch)

Shame we don’t have path visibility. I think the park ratings will still be poor with free roaming Dinos and the guests ‘not being able to see them’. Frontier should add path visibility like have done on their other games

remember when you made a wall with décor? just do that but have a gap, you can have it so its some kinda custom made entrance. or you can just use a tour track, and link 2 jurassic tours (or whatever era) together!

I’ve successfully made a walkthrough with compys, oviraptor, moros and Sinosauropteryx. Putting water in the centre with dehydration on seems to keep them in the enclosure.

Hey Evo. Do you think Frontier is slowly ending the support for the game? Normally we wouldve got an expansion around this time. But we got an update that had not many new stuff and even unfinished content like no social animations for Tylo and Mosa. Tylo is still bugged/stiff with no shark feeder option. The preview stream also felt kinda rushed. Frontier also was not present on reddit for example answering questions which was the case in the last Updates .

I wonder if we can utilize the free roaming toggle to prevent attacks from pterosaurs on guest as to have open air / normal fencing exhibits for them? With that enable, it could prevent aggression from pterosaurs getting too close to guests leading to them panicking. I feel someone should test that under the "all dinosaurs" option. I'd be really neat to see if that works and if not added for the future....
