Thanks so much for the help with the jammer build, it worked perfectly! This is the first circuit I've seen that worked perfectly on the first try. Just a note for anyone looking to jam frequencies around 2400 MHz: you’ll need to swap the VCO chip for the YSGM232508 and adjust the resistors in the NE555 circuit to get the desired waveform. If you do not know what you are doing you better give up before you get jailed man. Adjust means find correct resistor and capacitor values for NE555 triangle signal generator so it would generate correct voltage range (peak to peak) that alows VCO to reach 2.4GHz frequency. It will be hard without f.ex. FNIRSI oscilloscope to see this signal shape and parameters.

if you are looking for good power RF output amplifier search for something with heatsink and TQP7M9103 chip. Remember that most of these boards need to be altered to operate on specific frequency and you need to buy SMD capacitors to do that therefore extra knowledge is needed to make it work. Always use Yagi Uda type of antenna not the omnidirectional. EDIT: Also found that SBB5089Z chips may be useful as they serve as wideband amplifiers in most of the small jammers designs. They give 20dBm / 100mW power but it is sufficient to cover 15m+ radius. Look for 50MHz-6GHz amplifiers

If you add some BPSK modulation with a clock-rate of 1.023 Mbps to the vco signal, you'll achieve even higher jamming power. This would ruin the remaining robustnes of the CDMA.

That is correct. The best would be to put fast Microcontroller with DAC instead of NE555 that gives best flexibility for VCO frequency steering EDIT. I checked with MCU + DAC and analogue type of sawtooth signal generator seems to work better. Also Noise type of DAC signal is not good. I think VCO has some setup time for frequency therefore the smooth adjustment works better. The signal driving the VCO needs to change linearly.

Remember, there is still RF power radiated from the back of the yagi. Normally it is minor but if your head is just a few inches / centimeters from the antenna, it could be hazardous when using high power.

using 4G and 5G jammer is not a good idea. You will be found and fined pretty fast because cell towers have advanced jamming detection and positioning capabilities. If they are using bluetooth speakers there will be a solution for this in my upcoming video.

Us government could not care less. I have been digitally terrorized by a family member for YEARS and tried all legal means to stop it (collected devices, evidence, system logs, my recorded observations, etc) and hired professionals to assess and be willing to testify but I traveled by foot (my devices and car are continuously remote disabled) to visit in person my local police, mayor and city counsel, state Police, the FBI, Secret Service and other agencies to beg for help and they all refuse. They all say one of the others is responsible. After extensive questioning, apparently no one intelligent enough to handle the situation is employed at any of these places (including the FBI head of Cybersecurity). So, we are on our own. To hell with them. Do whatever you need to do. After dealing w this for YEARS and almost losing everything (I was about to die from being shut out of communication capabilities) I just now managed to get a phone working by jamming the malicious script streaming into my office. Next is a computer -and annihilation of the malicious signal itself. I would love to see the b∆℅¥€€√s drag me into court so I can show full evidence of their negligent incompetence! You could look into an LRAD also. Businesses use them to make loiterers feel ill. Good 🍀 luck

of course.. the video was just a test if the concept works EDIT. I tested with random number generator feeding DAC for random voltages 0-5V to drive VCO. Seems that analog sawtooth signal or triangle signal gives better jamming results.

I used the diagram from this page : www.electroschematics.com/555-triangle-waveform-generator/ However I changed the components to following : 100K --> 10K 47K --> 4,7K 0,2uF --> 4,7nF 0,1uF --> 2,2nF It finally gave me best results with 1,5GHz VCO module ( the chip YSGM 151708 ). The triangle signal was around 44KHz frequency and the VTune was in the area 2V-3V which perfectly matched surroundings of 1575MHz GPS signal Even without the RF Amplifier I was able to jam GPS from 10+ meters !! The VCO module has 8 miliWatt of RF power on its own...

I think at least 16 bits DAC is needed to achieve good results because you need to map the output voltage range to VCO chip characteristics ( Vtune Freequency generated) therefore best granularity is needed

Those toys operate mostly on 47 CFR 15 bands, a few on Part 18 ISM, and are subject to strict signal emissions and stricter out of band limits, plus are secondary spectrum users with a duty to shut down if or when they cause harmful interference to licensed/primary spectrum users on adjacent frequencies. Jammers by definition are intended to cause willful, harmful interference under US or EU laws, when operated on most bands shown for GPS or cel. WiFi or ISM has fuzzier legal issues.

The best would be also to change resistors 100K to 10K and 47K to 4.7K. Anyway I would go for building a Sawtooth generator with at least 100KHz : www.falstad.com/circuit/e-555saw.html Also there are NE555 DIY kits with all type of signals : square, triangle and saw

Such as pumps for medicine, hearing aid devices, pacemakers etc. I am a chronic disease patient and I use a medical device with bluetooth. I have no trouble of people exploring it but when you do this just keep this in mind that basically someones life might be on the line.

Cap 10V is enough if you are powering the VCO from 5V. If you want to get 7nF from 2nF and 5nF you need to connect these two in PARALLEL

is it really illegal to jam GPS signals ? it does not affect GPS signal transmissions. To my understanding, it only makes geolocating your phone less accurate. It's like going outside and leaving your mobile phone at home.

If you attach directional antenna and better RF amplifier you can confuse the UAV drones approaching your property. The phone was just an example because I wanted to check if it really works... If you build it with proper VCO frequency you can literally take down the drone because it will switch to safe landing mode - then you may rip off the SD flash card and wipe the recorded data..

I see you reaaally want to go to the jail. Use NetMonster app on your mobile phone to find out what are the frequencies in your nearest cell tower. But you must know that cell towers are having jamming detectors and can easily locate you within seconds. At least be prepared for the police because they will visit you for sure

you will need to change capacitors for sure. If you change 10K resistor to 3.3K you should reach 3.5V at the peak. You need to experiment. I would suggest to buy some small oscilloscope to observe the signal, for example FNIRSI oscilloscope

true. But the point is how to get cheap faraday cage. Other thing is that these RF power amplifiers need to be fine tuned to work properly and most of them simply do not work at all. To make use of them a lot more of information and practical skills are needed. The VCO generators do have couple of miliwatts power on their own and can be successfully used for low range jamming even without power amplifiers

I have built Copper lined Faraday cages... As for "fine" tune, a basic Google search for the frequency bands is all i would need to do, its reckless to think other wise, i may overly think this because i already know how. But to think that some of your viewers aren't intelligent enough to connected the dots and do malicious acts is incomprehensible. They are watching engineering videos they are already on the right steps, but are they in the right direction? Keep doing what your doing but please understand that the viewer has to understand totally what this is capable of, so they dont do it, few simple modifications can shut down alot of equipment/safety.

Are you aware that most drones flying autonomously can fly accurately for a considerable distance without GPS or coms? Take, for example a Pixhawk Cube controller running Ardupilot. It has triplicated IMUs and will track several kilometres with an accuracy of only a few metres.

yes of course. with good sensors and accelerometers they may reach the destination, but consider that they will not be able to transmit any surveillance or reconnaissance data to the headquarter. And for sure they will have no 100 percent accuracy to hit the target. I know that they may also use ADS-B 1090MHz but it is still not as accurate as GPS

Building it is a science. You need to distinguish these two things. It is clearly mentioned couple of times in description and in the video. You can buy it from china sellers - even more powerful jammers because this one is just a a toy. Its like with the knife - it is not a weapon until u use it as a weapon. If someone attaches gps tracker to your own car and you do not know about - it is a crime. How can you protect from someone tracking you possibly for bad reasons ? give me a clear answer please ! If you really want to help go to Aliexpress and tell them not to sell jammers, VCO and power RF amplifiers Ok? We will see if they listen to you. The china sellers are also posting videos here on YT go find them and tell them they are promoting the crime Well maybe You have some better ideas for example how to deal with military armed drones or the missiles approaching you to kill then let me and other civilians know, genius..

@@justanengineer5599The knowledge is out there but I ll suggest to never transmit more than a couple of mWs. Using an amplifier is irresponsible. The vco chip you used has a 7dBm rating and could achieve that 5-10 meters range by itself when correctly drived. An amplifier even a 1 W one is dangerous for other users.

it not so easy with such amplifiers. Most of them are tuned only to one frequency and not exactly the same as advertised by chineese seller. They require to be adjusted by replacing some capacitors and coils which is beyond the knowledge of ordinary people. As a result they more likely damp the signal instead of amplifying it.

It also says GPS signals are transmitted at low power, as it lists typical received signal strengths and says nothing of TPO levels. Many of these potential jamming and countermeasures issues are important to understand for engineers, as are EU, US, and other spectrum allocations and legal issues. ISM bands (47 CFR 18) generally support legal drone jamming on those drones using 900 MHz band comm, while Part 15 gets fuzzier. Most of the other suggested applications of this video promote blatantly criminal activities, but not knowledge, at least wrt US or EU jurisdictions (with massive exceptions to military contractors).

I am not promoting anything here... The video was just an experiment if using the knowledge from internet site and widely available parts like VCOs I am able to build working jammer. I am pointing couple of times in the video that it is illegal and it is also in the description along with the links to FCC rules and EU regulations. Everything is there. Believe me.. If someone wants do the bad things he will not make jammer himself because it is more difficult than buying a fully working jamming device for 50$ from chinese shops and you will not even know about it. Where do you live man? in a desert? Look on aliexpress, even on Amazon the jammers were sold.
