Not really. Its juthe the number of star the medal acquires. So 3* of crit trait will be granting same bonus support as 3* hp, attack or defensive trait.

The class doesn’t matter runne or attacker. Its about color. If you main party is of red color than add red color characters in your support. Adding runners or attackers influences your tags not support. Hope you found it easy

I mean if those 2 are your favourite get half-half those colours character in support or just get a team that works for you best with same colours. Cause its not always good to have same colour character cause then you will have same advantages or disadvantages towards a color but having character with different colours sometimes works.
