Watching your pull I think you should have gone with a Jund build honestly. I think the white was the tipical trap color you tend to get on your sealed pulls. I don't know if you played an actual pre-release but the format is very slow and the common fetchlands are amazing to fix your colors and play eldrazi. The double land/spell also help filter your mana since you primarily put them on your deck as a land first and you cast the spell part only if you draw them on the late game or situationally. For example if you are low on health you can play the orzhov enchant to help you survive or set up for a win. It was interesting to see your thought process though
