Nice video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you tried - Proutklarton Protecting Aqua Plan (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a great one off product for getting prepared for a mega drought minus the normal expense. Ive heard some incredible things about it and my work buddy after a lifetime of fighting got great results with it.

consider placing a one way check valve on the city water feed pipe to prevent tank water from going to back to the city at times when city water is not available. this way you wont need to direct water from the tank to your house this process becomes automatic.

I clean the 500 liter buried talk by draining it with sump pump and then finish cleaning with my shop vac.

Sorry it took so long to reply to your question.. The tanks in the water storage area are SS. the level of the tanks are controlled by electrical floats as well as a mechanical foot valve to shut off water in cast the floats high level function doesn't work. The pump that pulls the water from the tanks to the house has a 60 liter bladder (I should have gone bigger) that has a pressure switch to control water pressure to the house. The floats control the coils for the contacts that energize contactors, the power for the motors IS NOT running thru the floats. I hope that helps answer your questions. How high should a water tank be for a bungalow house?

There's no strict height requirement for water storage. We raised ours this high so we could have storage underneath also. Now requirement's for the size of water storage depends on how big the actual Bungalow house is, # of CR's, kitchen & dirty kitchen, etc... We will have 2500 total liters of water storage when I'm finished, our house is approx. 215 sqm, 4 CR's, Kitchen & Dirty Kitchen. The cost on our Water Storage was approx. 430,000PH or $9,000 US but we have automated controls floats pressure switch, duel tanks, etc... For a generic water storage could be done for less. I hope this was helpful..
