You can float them out with a hose too. Had to do that with trash cans in the grocery store I worked as a kid.

The biggest advantage i found to them is i can just put a couple scoops of miracle gro in the tube and it will constantly fertilize. I think i put my drain holes higher so it would hold more water . It evaporates faster than I expected

We may wish we had done that too. We will see. We may be getting out some caulk if it dries out too fast -G

We are gonna give it a go without it. I don’t feel like it will cause a problem as tight as the pipe fit. We will see. So far so good with the water drainage. -G
