As a C6 xiao main who's been playing him since his release. I personally recommend going 2 pc viridescent + 2 pc glad/shimenawa. When vermillion has max stacks it indeed gives better stats. But the 2 + 2 pc will give you it's maximum potential immediatly after you press Q. Also 2 + 2 pc is way easier to farm to get good pieces.

​​@@heheboi6330 viridescent not really good set for Xiao. Farm emblem domain and get some good shimenawa pieces. But if you use at least 1 non dendro, geo or anemo character I think it's ok, but still can be better (If i say something not right sorry, my english not good( )

Actually i did try that out. Vermilion with decent stats > 2pc2pc with insane stats. Weapons base attack dont matter i tried both jade with high base and deathmatch with super low base. Vermilion dmg is just higher.

Alternatively for 4* weapons you can run Xiao on a favonius lance, less damage yes but it saves you from needing a battery for xiao

C1 is a bit of a trap constellation as it only gives you 1 more e throughout the whole fight as you will never overcap on your e cooldown

C1 is very helpful in abyss imo if u run no er xiao so I just use my other sub dps and energy generator while he gets all three charges back the actual trap is C2 cuz u can just switch to him and get more of your burst back than compared to that 50% u get while off feild

You know, it helps giving a threshold. When you are busy doing plunge atks the the skills don't go to waste since the recharge time goes carried over to the third slot.

I'm currently farming 4 piece Vermilion, I'm a Xiao main so I'm trying to get Vermilion just for extra artifact set (I only have the flower currently 💀) And if i get Vermilion i can use Lumine(Anemo) and Xiao together like in Co-op! Lumine's artifacts can be VV 2piece and Gladiator 2 piece, meanwhile Xiao uses 4 piece Vermilion Blackcliff pole is f2p weapon (Kinda)

If you only starting to farm now and you dont have good shimenawa and gladi then farm on the new domain cuz his best arti is the vermillion and if you obtain good 2pc vermillion and 2 pcs of the green arti(forgot the name) you can also use it on him

@@Sanjayyyy Imo, vermillion is a hobby artifact set. It's honestly better to run him on a 2 pc VV and 2 pc Glad/Shim, since Glad is easy to get and Shim is also with Emblem. If you're currently building him, I'd say to go for a 2/2 pc. And one day, if you want to try out Vermillion and aren't worried about the time rebuilding him, then go for that 5% increase, 'cause why tf not? Chances are, you just leave with a bunch of great 2pc sets from both Echoeing and Verm. I only changed Xiao to a 4 pc vermillion because I was already in there for Ayato. But knowing that my Xiao already had a 2 pc VV and 2 pc Glad, helped me know that I wasn't reliant on getting a good 4 pc set to get him onto the field.

Honestly if you don’t have any of the weapons mentioned in the video, (like me) Lithic Spear is a pretty good alternative, with its passive giving atk and crit rate if you have a liyue character in your party.

I acquired xiao's signature weapon earlier when I was low world level.during 2.4i pulled for xiao and won the pity.upgraded him to level 90 before banner expire date. I am currently running 2pc vv and 2pc noblesse and off set anemo goblet.all talents are level 9. Crit Rate 71,crit dmg 174.

Maybe you already know, but 2pc noblesse don't buff xiao damage because his burst gives a % bonus damage to his plunges instead of having its own multiplier

Accidently having PJWS when aiming Aqua, but for me I would stick my Xiao with Lithic, having him with Lithic starting with Raw Xiao arround 2800, and with full buff such as zhongli Tenacity, TTDS, and Bennet I reach almost 5k

I'm super lucky I got primordial jade winged spear off the standard banner about a week ago, nearly doubled his damage once I did some artifact grinding to rebalance my stats (losing that 55 crit dmg hurt) and got some great vermillion rolls. 73/196 lez go. But its still not enough it has to be at least 200 before I'm satisfied-

For anyone who is seeing low damage, Dont be frustrated fam. An average raiden elemental burst deals 130k damage and if your xiao does 30k each plunge its still 150k damage with 5 plunges

attack goblet usually gives better results so just put atk sans and goblet and a decent ratio like 70 to 170 and your set for like 36k plunges bennett buffed and about 29k when not buffed

honestly as a xiao player, i hate vermillion. its usually his best in slot but youd have to get to near the end of his burst for all the stacks, plus one of his passives already gives more dmg the more youre in his burst so i prefer 2pc vv 2pc atk

As a c6 r5 xiao main i would recommend using 2p nobless and 2p viridecenr it gives burst dmg but it's pretty nice cause also increase skill dmg and again the anemo dmg also you can use 4p dessert or vermillion but it's impossible to farm

I like the 2 VV and 2 GC set for Xiao more, as it better boosts his overall dmg. Unless you only play Xiao for his burst (then imo you're missing out), this gives you more overall dmg👏 (Pyro vaporize xiao is underrated 🤠)

I like c6, as it gives you the chance to use infinite lemmiscatic cyclics during Ult duration, so u have to compromise few seconds of ult if u want to use infinite cyclics, that's the sacrifice. But c6 is a doom. I will pull for c1 on next rerun.

Ok so I have him with full veridecent set and his stats are roughly- 23,000 life I think and over 1,600 atck at lvl 80 with the black prototype ploearm (r3) is em is over 100 and ER over 180 - with a lot of anemo DMG buff/ is that a bad build or nah cuz I have sent good gladiator stuff and I spent so long Trina get full set that was good

My xiao does more dmg with r5 favonious lance than a white tessel so favonious lance is recommended as long as you have good crit rate because it will revharge ur burst instantly r5 ofc

Hutao will probably still be better than xiao since her fire element deal great damage after the enemies being applied by water, and ice. Where as xiao can only do raw damage since anemo is more of an applier not a damager, which is why so many people love having kazuha in their comp

Just focus on leveling him,his talents and weapon for him and even if you don’t have a good weapon, just use a polearm with atk% or crit in it is fine while you find something better for him
