A bad credit score has also cost me in extra rent costs (and extra deposits), extra in cell phone bills, insurance, and deposits for bills. I've FINALLY gotten my score up to 800+ with the help of {[e-mail]} . Unfortunately those late/missed payments have really hurt me. Credit cards weren't my problem...it's all student loans and others but . finance cleared it all, thank you {[e-mail]} ....

If I become an authorized user of someone else's credit and my credit is built pretty high, would my credit score be affected If I decided to disjoin from being an authorized user? For example, I have no score right now. It's zero. When I join someone else's credit who has a good credit history, my score jumps up to let's say 750 within a period of time. Since now my score is 750, could I stop wanting to be an authorized user of that person's credit and my score remain 750?

I have a question I applied for the Discover it secured about a week ago and I didn’t know I could get added as a authorized user. Saying that does that mean if I get added as a authorized user will that affect my credit score negatively then bounce back? Or will it affect my parents credit score?
