Great video. I'd assume these steps would work on Linux as well, right? I'd love to run FreeeBSD as my daily driver (I've tried.. trust me lol) but certain things that are available on Linux and Windows just aren't quite there (yet) on FreeBSD. I like running Arch Linux (vanilla, not a distro) as it's IMHO the Linux equivalent to FreeBSD in terms of how it's laid out.

Hi, could be that your Internet connection isn't up or setup correctly or DNS has the wrong nameservers in. Try to ping 8.8.8.8 see if you get a reply. Then try to ping pkg.freebsd.org to check DNS.

You can check your DNS settings on /etc/resolv.conf
