My best tip is, doing an Endo, without the brakes. Works every time. Just think, you pressed the brake, and lift that wheel

That’s an interesting way to put it. The way I learned it is to literally throw your weight over so that you go over the bars. With this mentality you kind of have to force yourself to pick up the rear wheel.

Yep that tutorial kinda sucks. Its normally going down to compress the suspension->going back to pop a manual -> jumping up and doing the bar scoop

@@softcolly8753 yep bmx/hardtail doesn't require the downwards preload but without it you wont get a lot of air out of an enduro/downhill bike because the suspension will just suck it up

That’s how it feels to begin with. But if you film yourself, the reality is, you’re probably nowhere near over the bars, what you’re experiencing is just going out of your comfort zone.

Not true, what he is doing is literally a bunnyhop, which is when the front tire comes off first then the rear tire. A hop where Both tires come off the ground simultaneously is called an English bunnyhop.

You are confusing people. The main thing is the leverage that is created between the ground and the rear wheel. There is no scooping back wheel in the basic bunny hop technique: pull your weight backwards to lift the front wheel, then move the handlebars to your waist, while standing up. Then push bars away. That’s the bunny hop.

Correct. You jump and bend your knees so your feet don't weigh down the back end, making the rear come up with the front end that your arms already pulled up with your intial jump. This YT guy is acting like you need to scoop the pedals, which would only interfere with going high. Scooping pedals is good for nollies, which is the opposite of a bunnyhop.
