Hi there, I just built a new PC. 12th Gen I7 blah blah lol, I installed Handbrake & it takes 10-20 minutes to scan the subtitle before it even starts encoding. Is there a setting I'm missing, cause my old pc used to scan subtitles in 3 minutes max. I can't find anything about it.

But I don't need to import subtitle, they're already there on the video file i'm trying to copy. What I need to know is how to burn in those subtitles on to my copy. Nothing I've tried yet works. Any suggestions?

HandBrake doc seems to indicate that you can "Hardburn" to the top of the display rather than the bottom as your video and my own experience shows. Do you know if this is possible and if so, how?

Hey! I wonder if you could help me. I did what you showed on the video but the subtitle (spanish) is wrong. All the characters that have accent mark, like á, é, í, ú, ó ú are not shown. The program removes the characters altogether. When I watch the video with the separate srt file (without burning it) it is perfect. Do you know what could be the problem? Thank you!
