Excellent tutorial...no chatting, no mucking about! Straight to it and now I can manage a button placement AND know what a slip knot is to boot! 👏👏👏👏❤️

Helping people re-attach those annoying loose tufting buttons for over a decade now. That's a bigger contribution to society than most people make in a lifetime. Thanks for the slo-mo lesson!

I have looked at a few videos on how to do a slip knot and this is by far the best. Thanks.

This was great !, I had to attach a button back to a cushion and this was the solution, it works perfectly. The video is simple and easy to follow. Loved the slow motion section !, thanks

Thank you so much. Had guests yesterday and one of the buttons on a wool cushion got ripped off. With my neighbours huge needle and a piece of nylon thread from the shed it's now fixed and is like new again.

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I've been wanting to remove the covers from the upper cushions from our rattan furniture to wash them in the washing machine the way I do the bottoms, but was too afraid to try detaching and reattaching the buttons. As a result, the bottom cushions are always brighter than the tops (which are cleaned by extraction). Re-buttoning is not as daunting as I'd feared, thanks to you. I'll have to invest in an enormous upholstery needle, though! Thanks again.

Charlie Bibb Where did you but the twine. It really does not look like twine, but a very thin rope.

Is it best to use a special cord that's made for this or will most cording work as long as it has some slippery quality to it? Just curious. I did this years ago but like 30 and I've gotten rusty so needed a review. This is great help to a foggy brain.

I think I'm stuck on the part where the aphostery needle (10") seems to need to go all the way from the front (button side) through the back of the sofa. won't that leave a mark on the back fabric of the sofa?
@joaoa.sperandio50297 жыл бұрын
the first button was on that mark, she's showing only the posterior side of the cushion

Although this looks like a great tutorial ....I'm a bit confused!!! U threaded the button first then the thread. U put it through to the other side , (bottom of cushion) so button is on top? But then you thread another button??? Isn't there a button on the other side?? Or am I really becoming dyslexic !! Help now please!!! Uggghh
@DavidRice1118 жыл бұрын
There is a button on each side, with the slip knot on the last side shown.
@nadiafedorenko4913 жыл бұрын
Yes but now do you do it on the seat part!!! Cushions are easy to work out! There are no videos showing how to do it on the actual seat!
@raczyk5 жыл бұрын
where do you get a matching fabric and cushion button from?

would rather hear description of what you are doing and what you are using then hear that bad background music. its not a porno. lol sorry...

it's not a porno...yet.
@chris_marshall3 жыл бұрын
The background music is terrible a description would be better also tell us the name of the things you’re using and where you can find them I was able to use this video to accomplish most of it but the knot at the back I had to get from somewhere else much easier with one knot I could have done a better tutorial
