Paid back 12 years of military service, plus retired in the Army Reserves. I'll be doing good when I retire as a USPS employee under FERS in 13 years. 👍

Good Video. You should do a National Guard / Reserve video with a 20+ year retirement. I think the rules are a bit different when buying your military time.

Make sure you get your "paid letter" into your eopf. I waited almost a year and called 3 times to get a copy of the letter, then figuring it out how to get it entered into the record.

I bought my military service time. What does this do besides help me with annual leave and sick leave? 5 years 3 months and 26 days, 6 months TSA and 5 years Federal time.

I’ve been a federal employee for 18 years and got out of the military in 1991. Was in 6.5 years. I hope I don’t have to pay a ton of interest

I am currently trying to see if I can buy my time back as a PRDL at 30% with 13.5 years of service. No one can give me a clear answer. After 33 years of being around the Army, it’s what I expect. Incompetence

I am afraid to buy back my military. I keep hearing all these stories of people buying it back and then don’t get credit for paying it? I only had 4 years but 30 years ago. Wish I had a ballpark figure of the amount owed? Also I heard you can pay it in full from your TSP when you retire.
