I have a good experience with Japan And Co. Ordered several times and always shipped quickly to Europe without customs costs. The box is packed well and they send gifts such as towels and keychains. I think Jumpichiban is comparable and they are cheaper. Also French who send from Japan. I have no experience with Jumpichiban.

@@SashaDBZjumpichiban is great, i live in Germany and ordered several times there, they also put in some smaller prizes, shipping is quite expensive with FedEx Express but at least taxes are included

I wouldn't recommend this site for DB figures per se but I pre-order all my Portrait of Pirates figures from Hobby-Genki when I can. They ship faster than any other Japanese site and are usually cheaper than most other options.

BBTS continues to be my preferred method for stateside sales. Unless I truly want a figure that much quicker by months! I’ll go most likely to eBay but I have to REALLy be in love with a figure to do so.

Tokyo Otaku Mode (TOM) can be a great option for Ichiban Kuji’s and prize figures. Particularly if you have the membership, those points can rack up and get you discounts on future purchases.

I swear by Mandarake. You can typically get figures for a steal there unless it's Saiyan Saga Vegeta or almost any Kid Goku. Just keep in mind that Mandarake has a huge selection and some racy images will show up on the home screen from time to time. Right now it seems like shipping to the US is still expensive from Japan. Prices aren't ideal to Sweden for EMS or the couriers but Airmail has been very affordable and in some cases arrived as quickly as EMS.

I went out on a limb and trusted this random post, registered for mandarake account and actually found a bunch of great value figures… BUT you failed to mention to the most critical drawback and now I feel duped: “Each of our stores all across Japan is adding items around the clock. When you make your order, please note that each item could be sold by a different store and that orders for different stores are handled separately.” Of the 9 figures I added to cart, there were 6 separate storefronts meaning 6 separate shipping costs. I followed through on one order of 3 figures (the most from one store) and the cheapest shipping cost came to over 8000 yen which is over $50 (and that’s with the yen really low rn). This website is only good value if you happen to get a bunch of figures you want from one storefront and even then I’d say at least 6+ figures just to offset the shipping costs :/ Good luck with that…

AmiAmi pre-owned can also be a great way to track down new and old figures. They update frequently and often get new and old Kuji figures, as well as the other lines. Many have never even been opened. Shipping can be a litttle pricey but that's JP post / DHL, and not necessarily Ami's fault.

Buyee is the absolute goat!! The amount of figures I've snagged for cheap is craaaazy. Yeah international shipping is expensive but because everythings sent to buyee's warehouse once you consolidate it all its very reasonable! Picked up last one beast gohan for $60AUD and Piccolo for $35AUD and theyre obviously very recent. Some of the BLOOD OF SAIYANS boys I picked up were $8AUD!!!!!

Love the video! odd question but is there any site or forum to see what people are looking for? not to be sneaky but I'm stationed in Japan and a big collector myself but to fuel my hobby whatever good deals i can find i generally toss up on ebay, generally ill try and match comp pricing or stay just under for what i list and where I don't make huge sums of money by any means its enough to fuel my own personal collection.

Amazon send you the figure like shit and very quicky scalpers will sell way higher than the original price. BBTS is good but their shipping fees are crazy (30$ overseas for a small box compared to 10$ amazon)

Indeed there's a lot of fakes out there, but usually it's easier to spot as the price is way too cheap to be true. There's also seller that put original picture but send u fakes one, so make sure the seller are legit before purchasing.

I received a bootleg Perfect Cell when I first ordered it a couple of months ago from Amazon. I returned it immediately but I was extremely surprised since the product page had plenty of official pictures. In hindsight, I must say I wasn’t careful enough to check the reputation of the seller

Are import fees the same as customs fees on orders from Japan? From what I’ve researched it seems like you don’t get charged customs fees in the United States if the value of the items you are buying is less than $800. It seems like you would get only charged shipping fees unless I’m mistaken. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I am curious why do some of the ichiban kuji go for more on eBay than the Ichibansho versions. Like the Frieza forms in the Namek set are only $70 but have been regularly selling for over $100.
