I used to play a lot of Minecraft on a server with a relatively stable currency and an interesting city system. Playing that, making money there etc has taught me a lot. This meta Verse really reminds me of it except I don't really get the Hierarchie and structure... Also of course there is lots of real money involved. I assume someone owns the metaverse and pays for the servers and the programmers. That owner then sells plots and other stuff to make money. Is his will the law? Can he ban people or take away their property? Have there been court cases about issues like this? How do you build on your plot? Can you collect recourses? How do you make those tiny little game machines e.g. . Can you sell furniture? Can you basically copy stuff you've built once? Does copying take resources? Can you sell what you've created right on your plot or in the streets or are there zoning laws? Lot's of questions. If you reading this want to answer go ahead I am all ears. I am somewhat astonished that there are over 20 million users and I had hardly heard of it. It'll be interesting to see where this goes though I generally feel like tech hasn't become what it needs to be for this to become a huge reality on the level of current social media
