First off. Great video !!! we need more KZbinrs talking about this because it does give people major opportunities to get in some of the largest PRIVATE companies. (Just think about how cool it is to know you and your family are invested in SpaceX, and Ai) it’s a good feeling knowing that the future is surrounded by these things to grow with tons of money to flow. How much assets DXYZ actually holding ? Only % of portfolio is given. Maybe they just bought a few shares of each 23 stocks (for now) . Pls share more thoughts

As he said, do you research on this one. Company bought their stake on all these companies for a little over $80M (this is in their website in their financial statements) the fair value of their stake (also from their own financial statements) is a little over $40M. Which you can argue is due to the inefficiency of private markets. I think its a huge gap and definitely not right. But say for sake of argument the gap is justified. The market cap of this stock varies because its so volatile but it has been between $600M and $800M. People are paying 10X or even 20X what the company is actually worth. To me that just screams bubble. Here is the cherry on top: almost 13% of the shares of DXYZ are owned by the CEO. That are now worth between $80M and $100M. I dont own this stock but I just urge people to really look into this. Btw if you ask for a source its all public info. Most of it is actually on their website.

This was a rare trade I decided not to place in the #mypicks2024 only because at the time I didn't know much about them and I didn't want to drag you guys with me into any bad trade.

Good questions. Tracks value and for when they go public I don't know that. This is why I said don't go all out in this until we learn well how it works.
