I agree... Rather than buying One 15 lakh bike, better to buy Three different 5 lakh bikes. You can take the bike specifically built for the purpose of the ride you are taking: Long trip, track riding, offroad, daily use. Meanwhile you will realise which bike you like the most, and whichever you don't use much you can sell off and get back money for different things in ur life. And over time your income is going to increase, but you will have less time in ur life. You will see that costly bike sitting in ur garage gathering dust and needing maintenance and it will hurt you. But you can always let ur friend/sibling take one of ur bikes for a spin and not worry too much about him/her crashing it.

Do you think people who find it difficult to buy themselves a superbike due to personal commitments must consider buying pre-owned super bikes instead of sacrificing their dream of owning one entirely? Please Note, I am dreaming of buying myself a Ducati since 10 years. Every now and then i do check out the details such as ex-showroom price, insurance cost and emi plan etc etc. And, every time i check these details, i get demotivated. Because buying myself a superbike of worth 20Lakhs by not giving importance to never ending but necessary personal commitments and also not focusing on wealth creation for a stable future seems to be a very selfish decision. Please let me know your opinion. Thanks in Advance.

Good Video with important points! Everyone who rides a motorcycle would like to own super bikes, but instead of buying one and maintaining it for just a couple of long rides in a year is not feasible even for those with one lakh+ salary. My opinion is that bike rentals scenario must improve many times in India so that one can ride their dream bikes in reasonable costs. For me ---- my dream is to ride the latest Himalayan 450--- even one day is enough for me 😊 But in my city no one rents out a bike 😢

Hello Bhai, Hope you are well, I like bike riding.. specially i love adventure tourer bikes. My biggest problem is that I'm merchant Navy officer, i hardly get 2 months of vacation after every 6 months. I want to buy adventure tourer, budget is not a problem at all, I don't ride that much and for 6/7 months my bike will be at home almost with 0 use. Is xpulse 200 4V is good option? Or should i wait for xpulse 400? I'm also thinking about Himalayan 450. But again same problem it will only get used every after 6 months. However my younger brother can do the maintenance of bike. Please give your opinion on this.

Ro Xpulse 200 may feel under powered. About xpulse 400 still no news from Brand. Himalayan is good bike at the price. Only that has to be done when it is parked is keep the bike on center stand and bikes need to be started once in every 10-15 days and keep it on 5-10 mins thats all n then regular service needs to be done for any bike. Go For A Himalayan bro it will give u a good thrill whill riding whenever u r back Home for the 2 months

Now a days all bikes (so expensive and cheaper too) do not have the parts quality as it should be, changing chain sprocket kit for just 20k Kms for such an expensive bike should not be there . Why those are not made to last for min 50K when you are charging 15L??? Buyers are fools to go after only the brand without giving any quality parts

If i were to enjoy the ride itself it should not be a financial burden for the duration of its life. maintenance itself is a financial and time consuming hurdle. but this maintenance is also a way to relive your stress, clean your mind. I saved up money for years prior to be able to buy RTR 310 and them kept some money for its parts. but i am not stuck in a financial hole where every month i am paying to the bank with intrest, does not make sense to me. if cant afford it dont buy it. this is how i live by.

Moral of the story for me based on all these calculations with a salary of 1 lakh a month is, you should not think of such bikes without a salary of more than 2 lakhs a month or even more, otherwise I think it will only be what is locally called in Bangalore as "gaand shoki."
