Ok. So far, this is quite confusing to deal with. You cant always have load only in terms of Capacity/2, Capacity/4, Capacity/8 etc., best approach is imagine two points as (0,0) and (X,Y) where X=load cell capacity and Y=MAX output voltage of load cell on full load. Using line slope equation "Y-Y1=m(X-X1)" find the equation which would tell what is the applied load based on the number of output voltage from cell.

Sir, small doubt.. everything is ok. If i just fixed the load cell and NO load is there on load cell what will be the mv?

creative wee: while checking 4 to 5 load cells which are used. I'm getting around 0.3 to 0.4 mv for zero load. It is for 3 load cells. Another two are giving 3 mv in zero load. What i have to conclude from them whether these load cells are good or bad? I used a constant power supply 10.56 Vdc in input

What if your dealing with 10000 kg does the same ratio apply in mv/v or does it change after a certain weight

if we are dealing with any load same is the ratio, different manufacturers design different sensitivity load cell, but mostly its in a range of 1mv/v to 3 mv/v, in specifications u can get load cell mv/v

capacity of both load cell will be added, but output milivolt will be same,suppose two load cell of 100 kg and 2 mv per volt,then capacity will be 200 kg but mv per volt will remain 2 mv, other all calculation same

@@creativeeee We have weightment in our project 100 ton with total of 8 cells with different capacities.our controler supply voltage is 5 volts at half of weight loaded I should get the total mv =5 m I right brother
