Lets do that a lot more accurate. =C2/B2 Format it as percentage and it will say 90% Use the percentage in another calculation and it works properly unlike how you did it. Also, try formatting your way as percentage. It will show 9000%. If you still want the outcome to look like the way you did it you just make it like =C2/B2*100 There is no need for ( ), Not even in your formula.

My problem: price: $200. I need 21% plus, + 80% plus all from $200

How do you "format" it as a percentage?
@MunchWillbeBlueАй бұрын
@@02toobad20 My layout is different then shown in this video. However, if I type say 0.9 in a cell and then select the select the cell. above my keyboard I get see and upwords arrow to expaqnd a menu. I open that and see "numerical" from there I can select either financial witch will put a $ sign infront of the number, but I can also select percentage. This will change 0.9 to 90%. 90 will change to 9000%.

@@Juliodax Easy, Say cell A1 has the value of 200, then type in cell B1 =A1+(A1*0.21) If you want also want to add 80% then it depends on how you want it. for example. =A1+(A1*0.21)+(A1*0.8) will give you 200 + 42 + 160 If for some reason you have your base value in A1 (The price you bought a product for) and say a dynamic percentage in B1 (a added value depending on how much value you added to said product) and want to add Tax after then its different. You will want to add 21% after your added value. So then C1 becomes =A1+(A1*B1)+((A1+(A1*B1))*0,21) This will first add 80% to your $200 making it $360 and then add 21% Tax ontop of $360 making it $435.60 If tax changes depending on the product and you have that in C1 then just excange the 0.21 part with C1 Altough it would be easier to first calculate the added value amount (add 80%) then use that to calculate the tax (21% of the $360) then add the two up. Now you can show your customer how much tax they pay. As long as you do your percentages right you can straight up calculate with them. If you do them like in this video you cant calcuate with them unless each time you devide it by 100 again.

You can do it like this : mark obtained divided total mark thin change the data type to percentage
@prnjl_grg38354 ай бұрын
Isn't that complicating? Coz if you just divide the total marks obtained by the number of subjects it will still be same ? Please correct me if I'm wrong

Where did you get the 100?
@Aman-nc4doАй бұрын
Its a 5th class match if you want to extract % of the no you have to multiple 100 and divide the numbrr you want % example full mark is 600 and I got 300 300× 100 divide by 600 = 50 So we solve its a 50% Sorry for my bad English
