Thank u for this upload... can u please share the link for the % >>gram🙏🏻🙏🏻😫 Cuz' I'm having a challenge as it relates to large batches calculations. What if I'm making a Serum & after calculating the manufacturer's usage rates i came up with: 1oz to g= 30g 96.5% of 30g= 28.95g Water 1% of 30g = .3g AHA .5% of 30g= .15g preservative 2% of 30g = .6g humectant That's the calculation for 1bottle of serum..but...what if i want to make (24 Bottles)???? How do i go about calculating the ingredients. EXAMPLE: in this case the * Humectant * which is 0.6 g... Should i say: 30g × 24 bottles = 720g 2% of 30g = 0.6g (the same) OR 2% of 720g = 14.4g ????? P.S should we increase both the Water size & the other ingredients size?? Or should the other ingredients total stay(but) increase the Water total only?? Sorry for this lengthy msg🙏🏻🙏🏻💗

You need to do clinical testing to know the potency of your products.

Please follow the instruction in this video. The first thing must know is how much you each percentage you want to use. That is where cosmetic formulation knowledge comes in. For example if you want to make Facial toner, use these percentage Water - 96% chamomile extract - 3% Preservative - 1% Then to determine the grams, you either just go ahead and use 96g of water 3g of chamomile extract and 1g of preservative. Now if you want to make 25g of the toner, you will have to use the formula I explained in the video.

What if your total grams don’t add to 100 can you still do this approach. For example I have made a recipe in grams that equals 159g . Do I just divide each ingredient by 159 instead of 100 then times by 100g (batch) Thanks in advance!

This has been very helpful to me, although I'm not able to get the calc for 40g water as yours. I'm dividing 40÷120=0.333333 i then multiplied 0.33 ×100 and getting 33g, instead of yours. Please can you help me with more clarity?
