Hello Harsh, great to find clear explanation how to rank on different levels! Thank you. I wonder if you could help me with my issue while ranking my data. I have three levels of hierarchy say Branch, Product and Date. I have a slicer which selects a product and I want to see ranking within each branch based on sales. So far so good. The problem arises when I introduce a date range which is DIFFERENT for each branch. So, I have a new product which is launched on different dates in each branch (this day is set by a passing a condition but that doesn't seem to create a problem). I want to know the ranking in each branch in the first week after launch. When I use a manual date range via slicer, all works well. But when I try to pass the date via a measure I get the error message about providing 'a table where a single value was expected' or the wrong ranking (I have not managed to pinpoint in which case it would be the correct ranking as there are to many combination to go through manually). My thinking is that I need to tell my measure only to use the Branch on row where the rank is being calculated (I am using a table visual) but not sure how to do that (CALCULATE did not solve this). I'd be grateful for any ideas please! Thanks a lot, Jana

Hello Harsh. Thank you so much for this valuable information you gave us. It was an incredible video tutorial. But if my hierarchical form is year, month, and date, then how does the measure work? It is not working properly on months and dates. I don´t know what does it happen.

Great explanation undoubtedly, though I have something to ask you. Instead of all rank If I want to use TOP N slicer inside the same measure. My approach was, used Top N inside Rankx in your measure that mentioned in the video( Rankx(TopN(selectedvalue..), ,) like this pattern using my current measure. But no luck to be honest. Good to have some insights about it.
