Why don't we have to multiply 2x5 in the last example for the moment calculation? Thanks in advance ;)

Thanks for your question! The 2 that you're asking about is already a moment being applied to the structure (2kNm), so we only need to add/subtract it within the equilibrium equation. If it was just a force (kN) then we would need to multiply it by the distance of 5m to convert it into a moment. Hope that clears it up for you 🙂
