The manufacture of AC-WC (Asphalt Concrete - Wearing Coarse) must go through an aggregate blending design process. Blending design is needed so that the mixture gradation of each aggregate fraction (coarse, medium, fine, and filler aggregate) is according to the specification criteria. The specifications used are the General Bina Marga Specifications in 2018. The design of aggregate blending for aggregates has 2 methods (Puslitbang Road and Bridges, 2018). These methods are graphical and analytical methods. The analysis method can be divided into 2 ways, namely the analysis with "Trial and Error" and the analysis with linear inequalities. At the Research and Development Center for Roads and Bridges, the graphical method and the “Trial and Error” method have been applied. The absence of the use of analytical methods with linear inequalities at the Research and Development Center for Roads and Bridges is an issue raised in this study. The calculation of the linear inequality analysis method will be easier if there is a template from Microsoft Excel. Determination of the optimum asphalt content cannot be done by using a linear inequality analysis method but by using a "marshall" test with the Marshall tool, but determining the approximate percentage of asphalt can be done using an empirical formula which requires data on the percentage of each aggregate fraction. The optimum asphalt content from the Marshall test is then used for field use.
