How to calibrate the battery of your iPhone. To calibrate the battery of your iPhone you should follow the steps in the video. Calibrating the battery of your iPhone won't make the battery life better but it will help iOS show the battery percentage correctly.
NOTICE: you should do this once in 2 or 3 moths or after a major iOS update.

It really works! It might not be necessary for everyone but my phone goes from saying it’s 60% then jumping to instantly dead because it’s not accurately showing my percentage. I don’t even mind having less battery life but the not knowing when it needs to charge and what the battery is really at is super frustrating. This fixes it for a few months until i need to do it again.

This goes for EVERY battery. Laptop, Android phones too. Its still a battery and after some time, months, it doesn't know the real capacity. So you just discharge it, leave for hours or a day if you want, charge to 100%, leave charging another 3 hours after 100%, then it will show you proper %

All the people who say calibration is pointless or even bad are straight WRONG. Basically, make sure its totally drained, plug in, turn off, after a 3-4 hours when you are certain that its really full, turn on and force reset (Volume up, Volume down, hold turn on button)...

No, it charges or it doesn't. There is no "sometimes" with parts. Either it works, or it doesn't. I'd probably be quicker to judge the cable or powerbrick to be the main cause. If you have done a battery replacement. consider checking the connection. We are human and make mistakes, it is possible for it to come loose.

Keep the battery charged between 30 to 100 roughly if possible. Don’t let it drain too much. Put it on charger whenever you can and don’t wait until it’s on red. That’s what a friend told me. He bought an iPhone 6 new back then. It’s still on 86%. My xs max is on 90%😄

Thilak Raj 1- Say no to overnight charging, In my 11 months of usage I've barely left my phone plugged in overnight. 2- Follow 30-90% rule avoid charge beyond 90 and never drain below 30. I travel a lot so I always do multiple short charges during my day in my car to maintain the %. 3- Heat is the villain, I don't play graphic intense games like pubg. Keep my phone cool all times. Even in my Car I put it near AC if I feel phone is getting heated up. Since iPhones don't have cooling stuff installed it gets warm easily. 4- Don't DON'T usage third party chargers and specially fast chargers. They will ruin your battery. Personally I use 5V 1A standard apple brick. If I'm in a hurry then I use iPad 12W charger. 5- Use low power mode, as it helps in long run. Also it keeps iPhone cooler by reducing load on CPU. 6- Don't use wireless chargers, it produces a lot of internal heat. Xr gives 6hrs+ sot and 11 gives around 7-7.5 That's it. -Shiv

@@Gold26502 I have got my Iphone 7 battery replaced and still it drains fast sometimes if I pick up after it has been lying ideal. My earlier battery was infact doing better. I was at 100% capacity and was on ios 10 for longest time, no issue with that on iphone 7. Problem started when I upgraded to ios 14, after sometimes my percentage decreased 3% to 97 in matter of days. Phone also started overheating. Battery drain. So I got the battery replaced. However even now after charging to 100% it will seem like normal drop if we keep using the phone but if you let it be ideal or switch it off and then use the battery percentage drops like sand in sand glass for sometimes and then becomes little steady and on plugging in charger after switch off or when battery drains to 15% it kind of sometimes does jumps and falls. So either they are giving poor quality batteries or ios 14 and above is to be blamed.
