How to calibrate RadioLink COOL 9030 Brushed ESC?
First, make some preparations.
Preparation 1: connect the ESC, motor, battery, and receiver.
Plug in the battery. Make sure the negative pole and positive pole is not reversed.
Connect a brushed DC motor. COOL 9030 is brushed DC ESC, so it only works with brushed DC motor.
Plug the receiver connection cable of ESC into the throttle channel of the receiver. (For RC6GS V2, the throttle channel is channel 2. If you use aircraft transmitter such as AT9S Pro, the throttle channel is channel 3) The receiver has already bound to the transmitter, and the receiver output must be PWM signal output.
Preparation 2: Turn on the transmitter, but keep other devices powered off.
Preparation 3: Make sure the direction of the throttle is set to REVERSE. Basic menu- reverse - the channel 2 is reverse.
Second, calibrate the ESC.
Push the throttle to the highest position and keep it. Then turn on the control switch of ESC. The motor beeps twice.
After two beeps, push the throttle to the lowest position and keep it. The motor makes two beeps again.
Then, keep the throttle in the neutral position. The motor makes a series of beep sound, indicating that the ESC throttle calibration is complete.
Please Note: If the motor does not make beep sounds when the throttle is at the highest position, change the order of the throttle position when calibrating. Keep the throttle in "the lowest position - then the highest position - and finally the neutral position" for calibration
