Got to Intel HD graphics settings and increase the saturation of the red You should have check review before buying Acer Nitro 5, the company didn't give it a great screen because of how cheap it is... you shouldn't be worried about it if you spend less than $700 on a laptop like this.. there's always something we need to sacrifice at a price point like this

This tutorial really helped because in a game I have they turned the brightness super low and you can barely see much. This is what I use right now for editing... gets the job done after calibration... but it won't be as good as laptops with higher sRGB like %85 and above

sRGB stand for a standard of the colour gamut of the display, the higher the sRGB , the more colour your screen can display, but it doesn't mean it is all accurate colour , need colour calibration for help .

i calibrated my display, it made a huge difference. the measurement said it displays 100% sRGB and 85% Adobe RGB. in my opinion the Display still has poor contrast and too much saturation, but its a lot lot better now.

I've attached pics that show my ~$450 Acer laptop from 4 yrs ago (left) outperforming it in color accuracy (right). I'm exchanging this model for the Acer Predator with 500gb less SSD, shorter battery life, smaller screen, BUT 99% color accuracy--compared to this one which has a sRGB accuracy of 54.5%! The specs are amazing, everything ran smoothly, but the monitor color quality for a gaming laptop was my biggest issue. The battery life also seemed just average to me. I also caught the temp at 190F running one intensive game, so it might run even hotter over time. I tried to ignore the color problem, but it's something you notice immediately if you care about vibrancy. Just ugh, disappointing.
