Yeah you have to. Or else termites will kill your workers. One way to get more raisins is by completing daily tasks every day. 1500 raisins everyday. Just be consistent. Goodluck!

you can get it by completing daily quests or by letting some of your worker ants get it on the tree sap where the termites are

No you can't do that. I've tried it also before. It will not work. But you can try for fun. It's interesting.
