I love this background stamp! A trick that I learned years ago (I think from an SU rep), was, after inking stamp keep it upside down, and place your card stock on top of the ink. Then, roll a brayer over it. Peel off the paper, and the ink is pretty even.

I do that sometimes, but this one is really easy to flip and get on there. Sometimes when people brayer it moves so slightly. For background images sometimes that doesn't matter, but for stamps like these trees you don't want any shadowing if it moves : )

Oh, Cheri, what a lovely card! Great idea to emboss the entire card; I've never seen that before. It looks stunning. and I'm sure your father will love it! I still use my Stamparatus, what about you when you don't make a video? I've been dithering about the Inked and Tiled Bundle, but I will get it, so I can use the punches for the new Stamp set. I have only used the Stamparatus once since it went away. That was for some swaps. I LOVE the Inked and Tiled bundle - it is so versatile!

@@cheriscards I used it for the berry background stamp, that was too big for me to dare try with our biggest block. The large One Horse Open Sleigh stamp is another such stamp.

Such a pretty card! I’m wondering, did SU tell you not to use the Stamperatus cause I think you can use it anyway! I’m so sorry the other company wouldn’t just leave well enough alone. Are they sue ing all the other companies that have a similar tool? The SU position tool was and is a far superior tool than theirs! Ridiculous!

I can use it, I just hate to frustrate anyone who is new and wouldn't have it. While it makes it a little easier it is not impossible to stamp without it. I don't want to discourage anyone from getting the stamp because they never knew about the Stamparatus. I typically only show what is currently available (or preview) to purchase. But since I know people do have it - I want THEM to know to use it if they do!
