I find listing 2 cents cards to be completely fine. I consider my time listing spread out over all cards I sell. Because having more cards available for someone looking to make a deck or whatever, will result in more sales chances that include the higher value cards. A person may have not bought my higher value card, if they can pay shipping once with some other seller that does have the lower value cards they are after as well. And also by listing the 2 cents cards as well, we make the website a better platform for everyone to find the cards they need. The more value the website has to a buyer, the more people use it and thus the more potential sales.

I absolutely agree with you about a few points, the most important one that it is all about inventory! For me as a private seller, selling cards for 2 cents can be a good way to start generating quick good reviews but with the rather limited inventory that probably most private sellers have, I personally think that it is not worth the time and money.
@Ugaugabambam23 күн бұрын
@@GomaronOPCG You gotta start somewhere. You can ofc list everything at trending price but the chances someone buys from your limited inventory is very small. So you up the chances by undercutting the competition. Or am I wrong?

really helpful video! Do you know how to set your price at the lowest for your country? or do you have to manually search for it and then put that in? thanks

Manually searching for the country is usually what I do. I am pretty sure that this function does not exist unfortunately.

Hello loved the video! very informational, I have a question, I'm new to cardmarket and I want to start selling. How do I know how much my buyer will pay for shipping, and the type of shipping?

Unfortunately I haven't found that out myself so far :/

Hey! You seem to know your stuff, I have a question: Is there a way to modify the alerts on my watch list for minimum prices? Like for example I want an alert for a PSA 10 card but only when it costs more than lets say, 200 euros. Because I know everything under that are probably cards that are not graded 10s. It seems that I can only put a maximum buying price when I add a card to my watchlist, but not a minimum price. Is there some kind of trick to change that? I tried >price but it won't let me lol
@GomaronOPCG17 күн бұрын
As far as I know, there is indeed only a maximum price range that you can set and the email alert will only tell you about listings below that price which is very unfortunate in your case.
@self1sch17 күн бұрын
@@GomaronOPCG Achso, echt schade. Funktioniert zb auf ebay super, da man eine Preisrange einstellen kann und dann nur mails bekommt, wenn die Karten in der range drinnen sind. Aber okay, vielen Dank für die Info! :)

Hello, thank you for this video, it's very informative. I have a question, sorry if it is a stupid one, but you started by stating that it is best to sell for example 4 copies of the same card and not like all 30 or 40 of them at once because I will get "bought out". What do you mean by this and why is this a bad thing? Also, are you talking about bulk cards, for example is it not recommended to list 30 of the same card when that card is a very cheap (2 cent card) or are you talking about more expensive cards, or are you talking about all cards whether they are 2-5 cent cards or worth a couple euro's or even more? Thanks a lot! PS: I am a pokemon card collector.
@GomaronOPCG10 ай бұрын
Inserting a lot of copies (let's say more than 10) at the lowest price point is never a good idea, neither for cheap cards nor for expensive cards. If you really just want to get rid of your bulk, you can do that but most likely in the end, your useful bulk cards will all be bought up and afterwards you are still stuck with the bulk that really nobody wants. Cardmarket takes 2% of the fees or at least 1 cent, so if you are selling cards for 2 cents, you will get one. That is a 50% commission fee which can easily be avoided by selling the cards at 10 cents or more and it will not decrease the amount of orders you get that drastically. Hope this was helpful even 2 weeks after your question^^

i got a problem putting money in my account i choose credit with bank transfer it said up to 3 days but it been past like 6 days and still no money in my account do you know how many days they usually take it said 3 days but it been past 6 days so that is not the reason do you have to put the transfer reason name in the Beneficiary name during ebanking?
@GomaronOPCGАй бұрын
You have to fill in the payment reference that cardmarket has given you for your account. Otherwise they don't know which account belongs to which wire transfer. It usually takes 3 work days but with all the holidays right know, it probably takes a little longer. If your money is still not on your cardmarket account by Tuesday, you should open a support ticket.

There are alot of £0.02 listings for commons if i sell my commons at £0.15 a piece will they still sell?
@GomaronOPCG4 ай бұрын
It definitely depends on the common card, if it is not playable at all, you probably won't be able to sell it for 0,15€ a piece except you have a huge inventory like retailers. For most common cards, I would suggest 0,05€ to 0,10€.

Is it possible on cardmarket, on only to search for graded cards ?
@RicksonGymbro6 ай бұрын
You can search for mint condition of a card, not every mint card on cardmarket is graded, most are though.
@GomaronOPCG6 ай бұрын
Not explicitly but as already said, search for mint condition cards and then read the comments of all the listings. Sellers usually write the grade and the grading company in the comments and sometimes they upload a picture.

I recognised the accent! When i sell on cardmarket, do i not need to put a stamp on my enveloppe? I sold a lot over vinted so there i just print everything out put it in a box or enveloppe and send it over their shipping service, but how do i do this on cm? And do i just send it woth the normal postal service?
@GomaronOPCG8 ай бұрын
Either you put a stamp on the envelope or you let the post office do that. Depending on how much you are selling, it is most useful to have a good amount of stamps ready at home. Cardmarket always tells you how to send the order. Either by normal letter (=stamp), registered letter, parcel, etc. You can also ask your post office if there are methods for you as a private person to send parcels with tracking from your home if you want to avoid the possibly long wait times at the post office.
@OgIsonn8 ай бұрын
Alright i see thank you hmm so i lose money on fees for cm and on the stamp everytime i send something, kinds not worth it for low cost cards under 10 i wouldnt even bother😮
@GomaronOPCG8 ай бұрын
The buyer is always paying shipping fees so it can be worth it to sell all kinds of cards. Bigger inventory = more sales.
