Just inherited a Bearded Dragon from my grandson & would rather raise healthy food for her than buy crickets that don't live long enough for anything. Also noticed this was made several years ago. Wow, awesome video! I'm impressed. While they can't fly upward, I have seen videos of different kinds of roaches that can't fly, that, if they fall they will flap their wings in order to slow their decent and can probably gain horizontal distance as they fall.

Nice video. Thank you! Seems like there would be a way to put a screen at the bottom of colony so the poop would be separate. Just lift the screen and colony out and leave the poop behind.

My beardies are the reason my colony looks the same after nearly a year. The one thing I haven't done was separate the nymphs to raise on their own, I'll try that. Also I wish I could get chicken feeder around here, but no farms by me here in NYC so that's gonna be hard to come by.

I just ordered 100 dubias online from rainbow mealworms in California and are sized med/small for my juvinille beardie hoping to have a better experience than I did with petsmart crickets (more expensive, cheaper online) . 100 to start off with since it was recommended. So many more pros than cons with dubias compared to crickets :) Thank you for the video :)
