Thanks for another great video, Chris! I have owned that exact brush for years and use it on all my tailored clothes, including cashmere. It has held up wonderfully through the years. Your other tips are fantastic. Please keep making videos with extremely helpful content.

I stumbled across this channel a few months ago and after a few videos I decided to subscribe. Good move.lm' Iearning a lot, and Chris presents the information so well in his laid back clipped English accent. Surfed over to the website and was super impressed with their pocket squares. I just purchased two of them and will probably buy ten more. Thanks, Chris and and the whole Rampley team for putting this videos together.

Interesting and some great points Chris. I think a purpose made brush is better.

I own this exact model of Kent brush and can attest to its safety as I have been using it for years on all my 100% cashmere and cashmere-blend jackets and have never had it cause any damage to them. It's also effective on all my other suits.

I love the couple of 100% cashmere jackets I have, not only because of the wonderful texture but also because they tend to come in some remarkable subtle colors that are less common to find in a worsted wool. My favorite one is a solid in celadon green that is surprisingly versatile. Now I know how to keep it looking its best. Thanks for this excellent care advice.

How many times would you guess you have worn them? I would feel terrible if I got one and it wore out quickly.

@@jakeh.8754 That celadon cashmere jacket (quite a light shade of green) gets several wears as part of ensembles every fall and winter, and I know I’ve had it for at least five years; with minimal professional cleaning and the occasional gentle steam, it still looks quite sharp, and now that I know the best way to brush it out, I look forward to keeping it in good shape for years to come.

A great topic. I have recently acquired a RL Purple label wool, linen & silk DB jacket. How do I care for this. That would be great to learn. Thanks.

Does it work for wool and cashmere overcoats?

If you use a garment bag, then you won’t ever need to do this ? I guess

Hi....protecting your jackets when not worn is a good idea but you still need to brush after wear. Also...make sure your garment bags are breathable to avoid mildew. Thanks for the question.
