I've adopted the mindset that playing mid u don't need to roam in low ELO so I abuse ppl aramming by playing garen mid and shoving whenever they leave, honestly garen mid is so much better than top in low ELO just for the pressure it outputs by existing ngl.

This is a very important guide to see. This acknowledges that certain plays are going to be consistently better in low ELO. We've been seeing mention of the elo-identifier challenge, but we need to start being able to run these kinds of tests in real time. I think the best service that could be given to the community at the moment would be to find ways to test the allies you're interacting with while in-game. Passively reading things like body language, dodge habits, ward habits, and other such hasn't been a reliable indicator. Instead, we need to find ways to safely test our randoFriends so that we can make plays that work positively with the team (as opposed to the toxic "he's bad so I'm just gonna play like he's bad")

FINALLY Hector is back! Was about damn time :D. But I kind of disagree with the sentiment that doing tower damage is worthless unless you can kill the tower. If everyone would think like that almost no towers would ever be taken, because it is very rare to get a tower from 100 % to 0 % in one go. You could just as well do a good amount of tower damage and finish it off later when the occasion presents itself.

@@samprinter7960 That is not what I meant. I am of the impression that the video made the general statement "doing damage to a tower without killing it gives you no gold", which is a very narrow-minded view in my opinion.

@@MrReese If you have nothing else to do then yeah, but their point was that if there is something else to do, you should do that instead. It is very realistic at 2-3 items for an ADC to take down a tower by themself with just a cannon wave, but not so much with just one item. The decision gets more skewed over time because of that.

it would make sense if they would, don’t they? high elo truly begins in challenger and that’s not even to be said for every region necessarily. Skill Capped always claims their tier lists are aimed at Diamond and below so that would include everything up to Diamond 1

@@kooldudematt1 Meaning that they consider the top .05% of players "high elo", the next .5% to be "mid elo" and the remaining 99.45% to be "low elo". I've always thought this was a silly way of looking at it.

That point of cross mapping or taking coin flip skirmishes was super helpful and is somebting I’m working on right now at 1220ish mmr. Although cross mapping only works for me if my team doesn’t int and die while I safely hit tower or farm a huge wave. It’s still up to me to somehow carry with all that gold.

In low elo it doesn't matter if Xin got blue side jungle, he could still go bot for this gank. Some players are this unpredictable. I was playing vs Warwick who spent 2 minutes in bot bushes to get his gank with top camps up. Yes, they are really behind and literally trolling but it is what it is.

5 division is their "safe" choice for money back with the worst students Also, activly using can be very tricky to determine. Watching quides and then going to play someone will consider activly using and improve nothing in his gameplay, while he should actually stop autopiloting his games, analise them after they are finished, stick to one, two, max three champs etc. shortly put, put a work into improving, not just watching videos and grinding ranks and then wanting the money back bcs "I didn't climb as you promised"

Depends on context, if the adc is just pushing the wave to get it away from your tower or to get it slow pushing into the enemy territory they are in the right, if your mid refuses to go bot and switch with you and your adc then its also to just best stay in botlane
