Very well done. The first time i see a cascade connection between the ICs which is more compelling/understandable then the circuit example in the datasheet. Number 7 determines the current through the LEDs with a factor. Between 4 and 6 are ten little resistors. Because you are connecting 6 with 4(of the next IC) you extend that cascade of resistors. Its like a voltage divider with 30 points. Each threshold turns on a led. With the two potis you can determine the lower and the upper value of your input signal. But I thought, that the input signal of the last 6 must 1,5V under the Vcc?
