I've been having a problem in recent weeks where the smart view launcher tells me that it: "can't switch to landscape on displays connected through Smart View or HDMI" I can only get a portrait view, and if I have my phone in landscape view, it looks sideways on the TV. Any suggestions?

If you're doing this without internet only Samsung and phones that have miracast work. Not all Androids have this hardware. If you're casting with internet, both devices have to be on the same network, either mobile hotspot or home wifi. Airplay with Iphones & screen share apps like all cast with Android.

You will need to factory reset your TV which will make it as new and then reinstall all apps that were not originally on your new TV... There is a video on how to do this and build your TV back on my KZbin channel

I followed your instructions to the letter. Checked and double-checked. I've tried for months and I still can't get this to work. All my settings are correct . I have Smart View on my Galaxy phone and my Roku is recognized . I can even control my TV via my phone . But when the Smart View is activated all it does is keep circling around . Can anyone help me find what's wrong?

Wow seriously.....these comments come from people that have never used casting. And no one mentions the fact you have to enable permissions on the Roku for streaming.... Also....it looks like crap (and I'm using 5g wifi). There has to be a better way
